The first book printed in Portugal was made in Faro, on the 1487. It is a religious work called “Pentateuch”. The only known copy its first edition is at the British Library, London. It was taken by Francis Drake when his army attacked and looted Algarve's capital on late 16th century. What Francis Drake didn’t know, was the relevance of a loose component, a lost piece which stayed behind. That piece had indications that helped the people to run away when the city was surrounded.

Fomos fazer o Faro Escape Game e adoramos, tinha uns enigmas muito originais, criativos e temáticos. O Game Master, Paulo, foi muito simpático. We went to the Faro Escape Game and loved it; it had some very original, creative, and themed puzzles. The Game Master, Paulo, was very friendly

Absolutely 1000/10! The game play was so cool and the room was outstanding. Paulo created a masterpiece that is so fun to play. He put so much love and time into his place and it shows! Great puzzles and great atmosphere.
Amazing! Such a clever room. Very thoughtful and a really cool experience. The whole room was educational on the history of Faro and the game master/owner Paulo is incredibly passionate and it was a pleasure to experience his creation!
Amazing!

What a fun room! The gamemaster Paolo was passionate and helpful throughout. My only complaint is that there was one small piece of technical equipment that didn’t quite work the way it was supposed to… Paolo had to get on the walkie talkie and talk us through how to fix it. Once that was fixed, the rest of the game was great! Great way to learn about the history of the area, while testing your puzzling skills.

There was one item found in the beginning but not used until the end. By the time we used it, we couldn’t remember exactly HOW we found it! Everything else flowed well.
Paolo is amazing!

We did it with two, but there are puzzles that could be worked on simultaneously by having more people.
