The infernal Isengard’s drums are heard in the distance. Legions of monsters are heading to the Helm’s Deep fortress and Rohan’s soldiers prepare for fight. Although you are sure that the fortress walls are unbreakable, Isengard’s siege machines constantly throw Uruk-Hai orcs over you. A strong explosion is heard. The big wall of the fortress is broken. Saruman’s troops broke into the fortress! You join the battle. You have to resist! The survival of the human race depends on it! Gandalf and the exiled Rohan’s riders are still far away …

Like the other lord of the rings room at this location. This game is entirely mechanical and constructed from rustic wooden elements. We preferred the Mines of Moria over this game, as the spaces could be quite tight and the puzzles weren't as easy to complete. Ultimately, both rooms are quite similar. Special mention to the owner though who was incredibly nice to open early for our team to play.

Like its sister room, The Mines of Moria, this room Is also only very loosely a LotR room. The space is very small and feels almost claustrophobic at times, especially for a group of four. It’s probably best to be played in two. The puzzles are creative and physical, blending logic and mechanical elements, but they can get a bit frustrating because they are easy to understand and difficult to solve for the most part.
