The Stolen Relic

Better than I expected! I actually enjoyed the puzzles and flow in this room. With some logic puzzles and one that we needed a little hint on that made us have the "ooooh" moment. Overall the room needed to be a longer, once we got into it, the room was pretty quickly solved. Still enjoyed the room, would suggest a larger grand finale!

There is one puzzle in this room also referred to in the other reviews that made us go “aha” that I will remember forever! Overall, expect good design and medium difficulty. I would recommend four people and parking is pretty easy as well. I would also look out for a series of buildings because this location is in the business area of Tustin. At this point, I’ve done all three of the rooms now, and I think that Lost Relic has more outside-the-box thinking puzzles than the Haunted Terminal. I personally enjoy a more puzzle heavy game! If you could only do one room in this location though, it has to be Jewel of the Sea. As for the service, we were not received with the warmest of welcomes and it felt like one of the game masters (not the one who helped us with our room) just wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible. She was rude to us when we were asking to add a fifth person to our room and talked to us in a condescending tone. I’m glad this was my last room at this location because I would not come back. I would not hold that against the room itself though!

The details in these rooms are so great. Liked how it started with a head scratcher. Jordan once again was an awesome GM. We will be back for the last room shortly!

We went on Halloween, and it was a lot of fun being in costume while trying to retrieve the Stolen Relic! The puzzles and game play were linear, so be aware that you have to solve the puzzles in a specific order. Our Game Master was very attentive and had a great sense of humor when we got stuck and needed assistance. We had 4 players and felt that it was a sufficient amount of people for this kind of escape room.

The puzzles was somewhat finicky in a sense that it was broken but overall the puzzle itself was great. Hard

Puzzles were intricate and complex, yet eventually solvable. Loved the little details inside of the room. I genuinely enjoyed this escape room, which made me want to try the other rooms at Intrepid Escape Rooms!

Elisa ran this room for us and was very nice. She was definitely helpful with the hints throughout the game. Definitely enjoyed this game. If you like Indiana Jones vibes, this is for you.

Between Terminal and Relic, I think this is the better game. But if you only had time for one at this location, make it Jewel! Overall a solid game, but can be found elsewhere. Worth a play if you happen to be in the area though 🙂

6.5/10 There are two sides to every coin, and like a coin, this room has two sides to it. One side is an okay escape room experience. Not great but not the worst you’ve seen. The other side is imaginative, fun, and making you ask for more. Unfortunately, the later is not the side of the coin you commonly see. This is the Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull of the franchise. Enjoyable, dated, worth it if you are nearby in the area.

Intrepid escape is a great place to do escape rooms. They are very good with their details in the room, we took about 10 min before we figured out the first clue but once we did everything started to flow very quickly. Needed only 1 clue and after getting it we were like well that totally makes sense not sure why we didn’t think of that. Highly recommend doing this room however the best room at intrepid is jewel of the sea. This room would be their second best and medium difficulty.
