Dark Winters Night

Fun theme and creepy vibe. Challenging room that took several hints to solve. Several puzzles were finicky to get to work. I’d recommend a max of 4 people for this room, even though they say it can fit 8. Our group had 7 and we were very cramp(us) in there, especially since 5 of the folks were strangers to us. Company didn't offer the option to pay for a private room for just me and my husband.

I loved the game play and the story. The decor was great, puzzles were not easy but reachable. We did use two clues but one was a frustrating thing we just missed. Also a great Holiday themed room!

Rating: 3.5/5 This is a great room, above average, I almost rated it a "love" but a few things brought down the experience. Pros: Beautiful, high quality, immersive set Fun puzzles that fit the theme with a nice variety of puzzle types A nice amount of tech Cons: Rooms are public A bit padlock heavy for my tastes Employees were just OK, they were helpful enough but not enthusiastic at all There's not a lot of space, I think it would be a tight fit with even 3 people. I have no idea how 8 would fit. This was my first solo room and I made it out with about 1 minute left but definitely used a few more than the 3 standard clues. I'd definitely recommend a team of 2-4, any more and the room would be too cramped. The room was spooky but no jump scares.

Absolutely beautiful room, well themed, fun and creative puzzles (one could have been tweaked a tiny bit to be slightly easier to get) but this was an awesome room!!

Perfect cross between Christmas and creepy! Loved the gameplay. Lots of creative puzzles and special effects. Friendly game master that paid great attention to us. Some physical activity required for one player. The room is advertised for up to 8 players, but I wouldn’t dare put more than 3-4 people in this room. 4 people was a pretty tight fit and made it difficult to move around or view specific parts of the room.

Definitely a cool room. Worth the money if you can get it without other people or can book the whole room. Too small of areas for 8 people though.
