The Shed

Between The Cabin and The Shed, I liked The Shed better because I feel that it has better puzzles. The fun at Number One Escape Rooms starts before you enter the building with a sign that might make you believe that you’re in the wrong location. Then, you need to solve a puzzle to enter the building. The staff is very welcoming. The lobby is great, the doors and hallways are well decorated, and the intro videos are hilarious. The set for The Shed was good, not over the top, but it fit the theme. I enjoyed the puzzles in this one quite a bit.

This is another good game from Black Cats, if you’re gonna play the shed you may as well play it back to back with the cabin so you get the full experience and story progression, though, I do think this one is the slightly better game in general. It’s got a good set, nothing over the top but it supports the atmosphere, it’s got some good puzzles too, but I think it shines when you have literally just gotten out of the cabin, because it makes you more invested in the story being told by the room.

Solid room, good immersion lots of fun for our team of 4. Intro video was great and variety of puzzles was good.

Fun and immersive experience… room was very dark and flashlights provided didn’t work reliably. Hints are so fun in this room as well (usual way to ask, but delivery is different than the rest). No jump scares but very high creep factor. Amazing GM who loves escape rooms as much as we do!

They did not take or offer a photo, the room was good, great atmosphere but the Game master was not good. We have done multiple rooms here but the last two the game masters were not good. I asked the game master at the beginning to help keep us on track she said of course but we did not even get to the third room. She said she has been told not to give clues unless asked. It appears that owners have changed or at least the name changed and definitely has a different feel.

Another great room this escape room has to offer. As I said, in the other comments, if you can do both of the rooms combine together, I would highly suggest it. This room has a really cool creepy vibe.

Sequel to the Cabin, but I think could be played without having done the first. Definitely spooky themed, with some jump scares and blood and gore factors. Overall a good escape room. Solid puzzles and challenges.

So. Overall this room was good- challenging but not impossible. The problem we had wasn’t with the room itself but what happened before we went into room. We had booked both cabin and shed a few days before to do back to back. Normally you would flow from one right into the other- but there had been a mix up with the payments- when we were charged for our reservation they only put the charges through for one room, so they said we still owed- after about 15-20 mins of back and forth, we resolved it, room was paid for and we could start. They said they would give us ‘extra time’ to get the full hour since we started about 7-8 mins late. So when we started- our mindset and ‘flow’ from the previous room had been disrupted and threw us off- we were missing basic stuff that we would normally get. We finally got back into the groove and ran out of time! A little disappointing because we know our ability and if we had flowed one room to the next I’m sure we would’ve escaped or at least gotten further! Also there was some time where we had to ask 4 times for a hint and no one answered (eventually they did) but I’m not sure if they were actively watching/listening because the hint they gave us was something we had already figured out- so we lost a little time there. So honest mixup on n the beginning, it was resolved and we played but feel like we would’ve done much better had the experience been smoother. The room was definitely challenging and put together well.

a technological upgrade for its first half in the Cabin. lots of interesting puzzles and creative ways to give off natural hints and storytelling without outright saying what is going on. The Cabin is my favorite room at this location and this room feels like the proper ending to that experience instead of a separate one all together. play this one right after The Cabin for the best experience you can get.

We hate being bottle necked and this is where you get bottle necked where some people can do a puzzle while the others sit around. The trailer shows you hiding from the killer, which is why we booked this room, but there is no such thing. No actor. Such a scam.
