Mark as done to rate

It's been over a year since your friend has gone missing, however you've never stopped searching. Newly discovered photos and information has led you to the largest wetlands in south central Louisiana. Knowing that your friend is a dedicated hiker and daring explorer, all signs point to the Haddonfield Territory, a sovereign region, off the grid, at the base of the Appalachian Mountains. It's uncharted, dangerous and uninhabitable. To make matters worse, you've learned that a string of missing person cases litter the surrounding area leaving locals to believe that there's more than just the dense thicket and treacherous wildlife within. For you, the path is clear: If you want to find your friend, you must head to Louisiana and venture deep inside the Haddonfield Territory.

A scary good time! The room does have a prevalent horror theme which makes it more fun, adding a thrilling element to the game play. Many of the puzzles build off of each other however one or two require some more linear thinking. Overall its a great time, and we were able to get out with our group of two with 10 minutes left! Going back to finish the last room tomb stone soon!

Gameplay

Puzzles were multilayered and built off of the theme that of the room! Starting out with a bang … or … severed head

Atmosphere

It was our first time in a horror escape room and the details were fantastic! We felt completely immersed in the story line and the scares left us with our heart pounding!

Customer service

Our GM was great! He helped us through some tough spots where the puzzles didnt exactly flow but didnt detract from the room experience. He gave us a ‘backstage’ tour and we got to discuss more escape rooms to try!

Gameplay

Gameplay was good! Flowed well, but definitely had a couple mechanical errors.

Atmosphere

Set design was super immersive! Loved it!!!! Felt like someone was after you.

Customer service

Sophia was great!

Difficulty

Medium

A little harder for two people, but manageable and it was just unique escape “locks” so wasn’t quite sure on how to clear some of them.

I cannot recommend this room highly enough. It has a few fun jump scares. We had a great time figuring it out. The production value is unparalleled. The puzzles are fairly straightforward. Our crew completed the room in under 30 minutes. I do think we had too many people. This room would be best for 4 or 5.

Accessibility

Color blindness would be a hindrance for one of the puzzles. There are a lot of small spaces that people with a wheelchair would not be able to fit into.

Really fun room with excellent set design and pretty good puzzles. Not every puzzle worked correctly during my playthrough, but the GM was attentive enough that it never caused an issue with game flow. Thanks Andrew for a great experience!

Gameplay

Linear gameplay with some moments of good tension breaking up the puzzling.

Atmosphere

Set design was the standout of this room. It really feels like you’ve stumbled on an old cabin in the Louisiana swamps.

Customer service

Our GM Andrew was very attentive during our game despite also having to work with another group simultaneously. It felt like he was only watching us.

Story

It took a second for me to realize we had won, but the puzzles definitely felt in character for the story.

Game tech

Many special effects and maglocks were utilized here, with some physical locks spread out along the way.

Ideal number of players

This game feels great for small groups. Groups larger than 3 or 4 may feel cramped in some of the spaces.

Scary

Scary

I definitely jumped a few times, this room is meant to scare you. There are breaks to solve puzzles, but you will definitely dread maneuvering through this room.

Minimum age

Lots of blood/gore (of both animals and humans) and jumpscares. Definitely not for young kids.

Was anything broken?

Yes

We were told up front that a few puzzles were not working properly, but our GM was attentive enough that those errors did not slow us down any more than our own thought process did.

Live actors

No

It certainly feels like it at points, but you will not encounter any actors.

Easy to find location

Yes

The escape room is on the second floor of the plaza, which can be hard to navigate if you’ve never been, so plan a little extra time to make sure you find the place. Mostly an easy find though!

This is a great room! The atmosphere is good, reminiscent of slasher films. First room I constantly felt like I needed to wipe my shoes off before going inside, it was that good. Puzzles are pretty good, I would say they fit the theme pretty well. Good use of tech in this room, a lot of maglock style of releases. I hesitate to say that there was anything broken persay, but a few maglocks in our visit failed to release on queue. I know they can be slightly finicky, and they did release on the GM's command. The rest of the tech usage was spot on and worked great for the room. Probably my favorite room out of the 3 at this location.
