Revenge Of Medusa

This company has great set design and theming across all their rooms and this held true for “Revenge of Medusa.” I only wish they could build out bigger experiences because I have no doubt they would be that much more immersive. One thing I will say about this room is that it left me in want of more puzzles. We played as a group of 2, were not rushing, and finished with 20 minutes to spare. Nothing in here was super novel or surprising, but I’d say it’s a solid room for beginners. My only complaint is that our GM gave us unprompted nudges, which we did not ask for and would not have wanted. Particularly not needed since we escaped with 20 minutes to spare too, so we were never in danger of falling behind the timetable for escaping. I wish the GMs were trained to not do this.

fairly easy room, except we got stuck on one thing for a long time bc we mistook an ambient sound for a puzzle completion noise 🥲 again, reiterating my gripe with clockwise, it’s too dark and it’s hard to see even with the lamps :’) ya girl needs darkvision Good vibes and a fun theme overall!

Revenge of Medusa was one of my favorite rooms here and a really fun experience from start to finish. The atmosphere matched the Greek mythology theme very well and helped bring the story to life. What I appreciated most was how the puzzles connected with the story and theme. Nothing felt out of place, and the flow made sense throughout the room, which kept the game moving smoothly. There was also a puzzle I had never seen before, which was a huge plus and made the room feel even more unique and memorable. Overall, Revenge of Medusa had great atmosphere, strong theme connection, creative puzzles, and a smooth flow. It definitely stood out to me and became one of my favorite rooms at this location.

Gameplay was fine. We went with a group of 2, unintentionally. Other two people accidentally book wrong date. We had a blast, but would have enjoyed more heads. Game master gave us extra time to finish the game.

Wasn’t a fan of the room. Didn’t really have much exciting moments and the original room that we wanted broke down so that’s why we ended up doing this one.

Various puzzles with more than 1 room to complete. Not my favorite room from this location, but still good to do.

Cool room! We were able to knock it our with two people and the game master was able to stand in as a dummy for the last one.

Our team of 7 blew through the room but had a great time doing it. While I missed a good amount of the puzzle work my team did, the puzzles I did solve were interesting and fun. There were a couple of puzzles where the inputs seemed unclear if we did it right but ultimately they worked out. Game masters were super pumped with our performance.

Was super fun but maybe a little scary for sensitive children. The setting added a lot to the experience and the puzzles were pretty clever.

I’d say it was pretty fun, though I had higher expectations in its production value which undermine much of the immersion, though for the price I think it was chill.
