Escape IT - The Sewers

After reading the other reviews, I was expecting less puzzles than we actually had. We treated it more like a haunt and ended up wasting lots of time not looking for puzzles and just enjoying the room and the scenery. It was very enjoyable in the production was great. The puzzles were just OK lots of them were just coded locks, but the actors were fun. The lighting made it really hard to read the numbers on the lock so even when you got the right code, it was just as difficult to figure out if you put in the right number or not.

I would have to say this escape room felt more like a haunted maze. There is a lot of focus on the quality of production and jump scares. If you’re looking for an experience with a lot of puzzles, this probably isn’t the right fit for you. I still thoroughly enjoyed this room, but it was 70% horror and 30% puzzles.

Absolutely brilliant!!! Everything from the sets to the live actors to the special effects were to notch. This is my all time favorite escape room at the moment. We can't wait to get back to play the the other room!

There were about 10 people total in our group, which is just way too much for players to reasonably be a part of what's going on, but also seemed like a typical group size. The players in our group seemed reasonably competent and good teammates, but it's a dice roll with public bookings. I find it hard to rate this game - sure, it wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't what I was hoping for as an escape room fan. Probably great if you're a fan of the franchise, but skippable if you're looking for a good escape room. Set was good, though (predictably) darker than I would have preferred. Puzzles were... OK, I guess. On the simple side, but also fair and not giant leaps.

Came here for our kids 16th birthday. Being stuck with people you don’t know can be a bummer especially when one makes a phone call in the middle of the game, but we still had a terrifying time! We played both rooms back to back. Coming from California we noticed Vegas likes to babysit their players through the whole game which is another awkward moment, but thankfully our GM was in character the whole time. This was much better than Saw & Blairwitch as they actually allowed us to solve puzzles on our own without being rushed.

Not really an escape room but rather a guided movie experience with some puzzle elements. Worth the price of admission for its movie-quality set design

Overall fun, and the sets are top notch. It's like being in the movie. The actors do a fantastic job, and really make the experience. Many of the puzzles are pretty hard, made harder by the fact that they don't really belong in the It universe. Those that do fit are tons of fun, but the ones that don't make you think, "Why does It care about door keypad codes?" You can tell the actors that you want an easy experience and they will give you lots of hints, and then you can just enjoy being part of the It universe for an hour.
