Great room, puzzles are fairly linear in design. Atmosphere is absolutely fantastic, and ton of tech involved. Storyline is great. Some puzzles have just enough obscurity to add a challenge, but everything makes sense. Overall not too difficult. Design played into it well.

A very well designed set with a thematic story that was definitely on point! This is a huge level up for Trapped having done most of their other escape rooms in this regard. This room really has you feel like you are fully immersed and went on an adventure. We ran into a technical issue towards the end of the room which was unfortunate and slightly frustrating. I do not think this is the norm though. Highly recommend this!

Trials of Merlin continues a strong Trapped legacy and takes it to a new level. Within story you’ll find layers of puzzles that involve a lot of tech elements. There’s a bit of comedy and animation too, with characters you’ll meet. Great game, awesome game master in Nick. You’ll enjoy this game!

Great high tech room. Trapped! Is always impressive but this one is unique as well. Toms of fun for all ages. Super immersive.

Despite some good technology the room feels dated. Too much just following directions while simultaneously not fully utilizing the cooler parts of the space. Newbies would likely love it. More experienced will probably be a bit underwhelmed. Our game master Fern was awesome.

Probably one of the coolest effects in a room ive seen! Blew our minds as soon as it happened! 🤯 The story we felt like could use a few tweaks, we kept getting lost on where to go next or what we were looking for. They went all out in the first part, but as it keeps going, it gets more and more basic. Its a fun room, with a few great effects, but we do have mixed reactions. Regardless it was still fun to play.

Were iffy about the flow. Some parts were very straight forward and we knew exactly what we were supposed to be doing, but there were a lot of moments we felt like we had noo clue what we were supposed to do. Theres also one specific puzzle that seemed to have no indication of what we shouldve been looking for to put in the correct spots, it was a guessing game and took a long time for the effect to happen when you had to change it around.
Atmosphere
This room does have one of the coolest effects ive seen in a room, when it happens you’ll be amazed. However, Its multiple rooms, they really went all out in one area, the rest of it was pretty basic, mainly just dark to make it creepy. But going from the awesome effect to basic rooms felt a little disappointing. It still felt immersive, but feels like it could’ve had a little something more to set the scenes.

GM’s were great, they really made the story great. The opening is so fun and they really get into characters. We love GM’s that love their rooms and love to set the scene.

The plot was cool, there were some really awesome effects through the beginning that worked well with the story line.

Id say it was hard because of the flow and the lack of structure getting from puzzle to puzzle. Some of the puzzles were a lot of guessing work, while other puzzles were just hard and took brain work (we liked these puzzles) lol.

We’re scaredy cats so we thought it was spooky, mainly just fog and darkness. But no live actors or really anything scary at all. But for our fellow scaredy cats out there this comment is for you LOL
