Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle Adventure

As someone who grew up with Scooby Doo this was a treat to play. I was a little worried if the game play would either be too Scooby-generic or rudimentary but I was happily mistaken on both accounts. This was a really fun room, great incorporation of the Mystery Inc gang (in their classic style including voice actors for most of the cast) and a good mystery to solve. The mapping and puzzle selection was just fun to play. Great game to play with the whole family. The only downside is I think we caught a few of the GMs on a bad night (not everyone but it was a few). The gent who collected us at the end was wonderful and ended the night on a high note. It was a weekend so I totally get the energy might be low from a busy day but I felt like we were putting the team out just from our presence. Not that I'm looking to chat with the staff when we arrive, as I'm happy to sit and wait but I've had warmer treatment from ice cubes when we entered. Tidbits It's an outdoor mall with a small parking lot so plan to park toward the Home Depot or around the corner at Edge Escape - it's a very quick walk and easier in/out for parking.

At times it didn’t seem as if the game master was paying attention. We asked for a hint at one point and they gave us information for something we had already solved.

I don't know Scooby Doo at all and was a little unsure about escape rooms for a while after this one. It's been too long since doing it to remember specifics, but I didn't really enjoy it.

This room was fine! Nothing amazing but not a bad time- I would only do if you’re a beginner (and even then, with a max of maybe 3 people). This particular location also had some pretty annoying audio issues where audio clues would play on repeat even after you needed them. Our gamemaster/host might have been the most apathetic one I’ve ever seen. For the price, there are better rooms to do around Florida, imo.

Fun, easy game for Scooby-Doo lovers! Really straightforward puzzles and an easier room.

Cute room. A little more complex than expected but good flow and progression through the use of characters from Scooby Doo. Game Master, Haley, was attentive and ready with appropriate clues (2 used). Nothing wrong with room but since I’m at 230+ now, I’m trying to distinguish between good and great.

This one caught me by surprise. I wasn’t expecting much from this but wow was it fun with a load of nostalgia. Fun puzzles with voice acting from the characters helping you out. Remembering the classic villains was great and honestly a great blast from the past.

Nice location. Busy area. Puzzles were straight forward. Good for beginners or a Scooby fan.

This room is pure nostalgia! You feel like you’re a part of the mystery gang and everything is very cartoon-ish. Perfect for families and friends wanting to relive Saturday Morning Cartoons.
