The DeLaporte Family coffers have run dry and the city is threatening to put the house up for a tax sale. You are called to investigate the dark and cramped wine cellar, as it was rumored that Silver Dollar Sam and his band of rum runners once used it as a storehouse. Can you find enough loot to help save the DeLaporte home, or will you be stuck forever by one of the many booby traps?

A truly dark room. We preferred Escape Ventures version in Orlando, but this is our second place true dark room. Lots of sensory puzzles. Truly these rooms belong in their own category as they test such different skills.

This room was really enjoyable. It benefits a lot from the shorter length (45 minutes), since it can remain novel without exhausting its schtick. I really appreciated the way that this room used some common escape room concepts in new and exciting ways, since you can’t read anything. We played with 2 and found that to be good.

With one of your primary senses removed this game has a novelty element to it. It’s certainly a good test for your group and friends. Storyline and ending lacks a bit but a solid experience. Just move slow so you don’t step on your tiny friends.

This game is played nearly all in pitch black dark. We played it as a doubles team and got out, and honestly I think if you had a larger group it might make it more difficult. The whole game is about tactile feedback, exploring your other senses when sight is gone. It was fun, but the other games at this location are a lot better.
