Surprise after surprise after surprise… WHAT?! I played this game after doing the Anubis room, and I was thinking nothing can top Anubis’s production value… and I was so happy I was WRONG. This set design is so amazing, and because of the set it made the puzzles feel grand. The actual puzzles themselves, when you think of it, are basic twists on classic puzzles, but because of the sheer grand massiveness of everything, it enhanced the puzzles as well. I do wish the puzzles were a little better, but this room as an experience will probably be in my top escape room experiences or all time for quite a while.

As of writing this after playing ~200 rooms I can honestly say this one is my favorite. It is big and beautiful and the puzzles are immensely fun. This and Anubis really stand out as their own class of escape rooms. I would drive hours to play here again.

Highest recommendation! Best room in US. It’s challenging and needs a large team. Not for first timers.

Quite possibly the best game I’ve played that truly takes advantage of the space and immersion element. You really go on an adventure. Also once you play this game you will see many element that escape rooms in Los Angeles copy and get inspiration from. Well worth the trip out to simply play this room

I’ve played this one 2 or 3 times now, and it really is super impressive. The environment is unlike anything I’ve ever played, and the set pieces are truly incredible. But that’s coupled with an out-of-place digital timer, and a fake parrot that gives you clues (until your game guide runs out of pre-recorded options and hops on the mic). The final scene is also a bit awkwardly executed, and goes on for far too long to be enjoyable. It’s like they went 90% of the way to making a truly fantastic game. Should you try out this game? Yes, definitely. Will you be totally awed by the environment? Almost certainly! But you may also be a bit annoyed by a few drawn out puzzles, slow game pace, and an environment so large that it can feel inconvenient to backtrack. Don’t sleep on this game, but also maybe don’t play it 3 times 😅

Incredible. Not as hard as we made it out to be.

What can we say about cutthroat? It’s definitely among the best of the best. With such a large building, the designers really get a chance to build the awesome immersive experiences like many escape rooms dream of. Wear closed shoes for this one as there’s sand just like Anubis. It really is a room best played with a large group as you’ll need the people to cover the ground and clues, and you can really divide and conquer once you’ve gotten into it. Like all of their games, the room progresses through a great storyline, and nothing seems out of place.
