Fab room! Loved the theming and aesthetics! Some tricky but cleaver puzzles. Only downside was that the last didnβt really work.

I'd like to begin by acknowledging I played this game fairly intoxicated. Overall I had a good time! There have clearly been some edits since opening with puzzles removed to make things flow more logically. This did lead to some unintentional red herrings but based on other reviews I imagine it's far better than it was. The set design was fun and I didn't find any puzzles to be too challenging or require too big of a leap in logic.

I was lucky enough to play-test Return to Wonderland very early in its development and I have to say it was a fairly disappointing experience. The pacing and lack of guidance are the main killers here, with the puzzles you solve room to room spiking dramatically in both difficulty and quantity. The dressing of the third room is the real redeeming quality outside of gameplay, itβs clear a lot of time and effort went into creating it. Itβs a colourful yet confusing mess. Our Game-master, Connor was an absolute legend.

The puzzles in this room are illogical and didnβt make sense. The clues provided were irrelevant and out of context.
