I went to Vegas without high expectations for escape rooms, but Monster Quest was a refreshing surprise. The games there were easily the highlight of the ones I played on the trip, and I'm looking forward to see what they come up with next.
Good set. The props felt like they would reasonably be in-universe for the story, and puzzles were suitably related to the environment.
If I had to nitpick, I thought the ending was a little underwhelming - from a gameplay perspective, the penultimate sequence feels like the climactic part of the story, and while the final task made sense narratively, the execution did not feel as satisfying as what we had just finished doing.
The GM was fantastic - a character that fit into and fleshed out the world, making the games feel connected. His costume and mannerisms were top notch, and he was fun to banter with.
2 enthusiasts breezed through the room.
