Locked away in a maximum security prison for a crime you didn't commit, a daring escape plan is set in motion for you by someone on the inside!

C Block: Locked away in prison for a crime we didn’t commit, but we had a plan to fly the coop. Pros: Escape Experience was our second stop on our whirlwind President’s Day weekend tour of the Nashville area. Although prison escape games are more popular than nearly any other theme, we could not resist the urge to once again test our expert jailbreak techniques. The game master enthusiastically briefed our group of eight strangers for our game. Once we were handcuffed to our respective game-play partners, we were escorted to our cells. The game began and we quickly progressed through the first puzzles despite being ridiculously cramped in the small space. We breathed a brief sigh of relief before embarking on the second part, and most difficult part, of the game. The puzzles were overall very logical although searching for hints was difficult mostly because of the limitations of so many people on a small space. The large group also hindered our tried and true communication strategies and definitely slowed our escape. Cons: We loved the game and the game master but found being grouped once again with a large group of strangers less than enjoyable. We escaped not because of the larger group, but in spite of them, having solved all the puzzles largely on our own. This was especially unfortunate for them since they had no idea what was really happening. This is often a problem when newbies are paired with enthusiasts with the result that nobody has the best experience. We recommend much smaller group sizes (4 or less) in C Block. When possible avoid mixing groups of strangers altogether. Despite the issues with group size, we appreciated the puzzle and set design at the Escape Experience and would definitely recommend that you check them out during your next visit to Music City!

This was a fun room. It did have some difficult puzzles. I would say this room is a 8 out of 10 in difficulty.

I had low expectations from the start when we walked in and nobody was there, not even an employee. We got no greeting and were hastily thrown into the room once they realized we were even there. The puzzles were all over the place and had no flow between them. They weren’t original nor logical and the whole experienced left a bitter taste in my mouth. Half the clues we received weren’t for the puzzle we were working on, but rather for something we had already done or not gotten to yet, not to mention one of them was flat out wrong (they gave us a code, unasked for mind you, and it didn’t work. They then sent a new clue with the correct code). And to top it all off we stepped into the room and were greeting with an open lock just laying on the ground next to a wide open box. Take your money to literally any other escape room in Nashville and you’ll have a better experience.
Puzzles didn’t flow well whatsoever and felt very uninspired.
The set looked nice, but showed a lot of wear from previous players.
We walked into an empty lobby, got no greeting, was hastily told the rules and story, then felt like we weren’t even being watched during the game.

There was a lock left unlocked and sitting out in the open. If whoever had reset had put any care into the game, they would have noticed it just lying there.

Downtown Nashville, so paid parking only. And very expensive paid parking at that.

It's been a while since I did this one. (8 years), so even back then, did see a fair number of jailbreak escape rooms. Still, this one held it's own compared to The Escape Game's right down the road. Requires good communication between people in two different cells. A solid room.
Decent flow. Definitely requires coordination with people in the other cell
A good looking jail cell

Fun escape room — nothing mind blowing but well themed. Leaned a bit too heavily on the “look everywhere for pieces/clues” than higher tier escape rooms but for a gen 2 room, this is pretty enjoyable.
