This game was really fun! It is admittedly my least favorite at Doldrick’s so far but don’t let that discourage you from visiting! The only reason that it is my least favorite is because the other two rooms I’ve done (Spoopy Bones and Crazy Train) are so insanely impressive. This room is still very well done and I’d highly recommend!
Gameplay
The puzzles were a lot of fun in this room! Compared to the other rooms I’ve done at Doldrick’s (Spoopy Bones and Crazy Train), this game definitely felt more dated. I also felt as though the lasers were a little bit overdone in this room and it made it more difficult than necessary to transition back and forth between rooms .
Atmosphere
The set was immersive!
Customer service
Our game master was very kind and did a great job running our game!
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
I haven’t done other games with this specific theme!
Story
The story made sense!
Difficulty
Medium
This room did not feel particularly difficult for our group but we’ve done a lot of escape rooms. I can imagine that the transition between puzzles would not be entirely intuitive for less experienced groups given that this room was mostly non-linear.
Game tech
High tech
There was a good balance of physical locks and technical effects.
Ideal number of players
4
3-4 people would be ideal to divide and conquer in this game.
Scary
Not scary
This game is not meant to be scary.
Minimum age
10
Doldrick’s has some of the best rooms out there for young escape room enthusiasts!
Was anything broken?
No
Live actors
No
Physically active
Somewhat
No stairs or crawlspaces but one room in this experience definitely requires a good level of dexterity.
Accessibility
The floor layout of this game is definitely accessible but I’m not sure how part of this game would work with mobility restrictions…I would recommend talking to the game master beforehand. Some puzzles in this room utilize color.
