The Alchemist

Absolutely incredible! This was just such a super fun room to play. Definitely one of our top rooms! We played it as a duo. We E mailed the owner in advance as to make sure that the room would work for two people as well which it did perfectly. (it is actually designed for at least three players but the setup can be changed by the game master before the game). We had a super friendly and fun game master (Katie)! Mind boggeling experience overall!

I don’t really know where to begin. This was the best overall room I have ever done. I’m completely blown away and fear this will become a standard I will measure all other rooms by. The team here put together something truly special and I can’t say enough good things about. I don’t care if you hate escape rooms, you will love this room. The only way you won’t love this room is if your inner child is dead. It was epic.

An amazing room with some of the most beautiful decorations i’ve seen. The puzzles were not extremely difficult, but they were very satisfying to solve. The story is great and really comes through in the game.

This room is a work of art, the set, puzzles, and solutions are all breathtaking. Highly recommended, especially for enthusiasts who like more fantastical spaces. Guido was excellent as our game host!

Amazing set design using multiple levels, it was very impressive to see how they were able to fit quite a large amount of puzzles, this room is certainly doable with 2 people if you are decently experienced. The theatrics, the puzzles, the design *chef’s kiss*. I can’t wait to plan another trip back the Netherlands to finish all the rest of the amazing rooms.

What a fantastic room and worthy of its fame. Our GM was especially great even when the entire computer system crashed and we had to wait 10 minutes for it to get fixed we still enjoyed the decor and checking things out. We saw a bunch of new puzzle designs and the room felt more solid and like a real place then a constructed set. I think that is owed a lot to the use of real wood and metal all over. The GM communication system was also really fun and clever. A very solid loved it from us. We played as a couple with advanced notice they can gave the room setup for 2 and it didnt feel like too much of a rush or time crunch. Despite the computer crash we still felt this was a near perfect game

I rate this escape experience an OBVIOUS 5/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). And quite the experience it was. From the very beginning, our GM took us on an immersive adventure that took 4 years to create in a 100+ year old building. To call it an escape room would be undermining it's true essence which is that of a grand production. Every puzzle had such intricate details and flowed harmoniously with the theme. There was no detail left unattended. The set/theme, puzzles and my experience exceeded all expectations and then some. There was a lot to do in 90 minutes and we, a group of 4, did it all with just 30 seconds remaining. But I wouldn't have had it any other way, since it gave me more time to absorb its beauty. It's a once in a lifetime experience that I'll never forget!

This room lives up to its reputation. Great tech with some real wow moments. There is a story but I was too focused on solving the puzzles to get immersed in it. Everything flowed smoothly but challenging enough to feel the pressure. 8.7/10
