43 escape rooms
This was a solid escape room overall. There were a few creative puzzle mechanics that stood out and made the experience enjoyable. The production value is fairly simple, but it fits the theme. Like many jailbreak-style rooms, your group is split up at the beginning. It did feel like one side had noticeably more to solve than the other, which made the experience a little uneven. We also played two of the other rooms here. Overall, they're enjoyable, but we personally prefer some of the escape rooms in Nashville, which offer more immersive environments, unique storylines, and exceptional customer service. One thing that impacted our experience was the clue policy. We personally enjoy having unlimited clues because it lets each group decide how they want to play—whether that's aiming for a no-clue personal best, limiting themselves to just a few hints, or using as many as needed to ensure they escape, especially when visiting an area they may not return to. After using our three allotted clues, we were no longer able to receive any assistance. Unfortunately, that left us spending the final part of the game circling the room instead of experiencing the satisfaction of escaping. I understand that some players prefer a stricter clue policy, but since we were playing with family, we were hoping to finish the room together. We left feeling a bit disappointed, even though we still appreciated the creativity of the puzzles.
