Super immersive and just absolutely gorgeous room. There’s just some really fun and clever puzzles that make you feel really accomplished and proud after you solve them.

Excellent theming. Love that a magic themed room actually uses common magic tricks in the puzzles!

The defining feature of Magic Heist is the theming of the entire experience. The quality of the set and the puzzles are top notch. Even when some of the puzzles frustrated us when we knew what to do (or thought we knew what to do) but couldn’t quite get there, solving them was very satisfying each time. Not once did a solution seem dumb or poorly thought out. Overall, this was a great experience for experienced escapers.
It was a generally nonlinear progression, but once we were able to figure out what we were looking for, it took a more linear approach. There was a clear storyline connecting it all.
The theming was top notch with very impressive effects and quality.

I’ve done a lot of rooms, and this was one of the hardest I’ve completed. Not difficult because it was poorly designed, but difficult because the puzzles were unique.

I was a bit disappointed in this room as I felt that a lot of the “puzzles” weren’t puzzles at all but rather a live game of eye-spy. Many if not most of the puzzles were more a reflection of your observational skills rather than your ability to solve puzzles. Some puzzles were time suckers either because it was difficult to hear or see, figuring out which door opened after solving, or because other parts of it were so distracting it took time to realize the answer part. I think that’s just lazy game making personally. The set was phenomenal though!
I wasn’t impressed with the puzzles and how sometimes it was linear and sometimes not.
Ok at best, didn’t seem to into it

Magic Heist was a lot of fun with good use of technology. Game was not linear, so people could be working on various puzzles at the same time. Had a really fun time.
Props for the game were very high quality. The magician’s office was very cool.
GM was great. He did a great job of confirming what we were doing as opposed to just giving us an answer when we asked for a hint.

60 to Escape continues to impress! We’re really sad that we’re about to move out of Chicago because we want to visit all the locations! Magic Heist had a great variety of puzzles, and the set was beautiful as usual! My husband and two brothers-in-law have a mix of different levels of experience, yet it was enjoyable for everyone! Our game master was fun and helpful and made our time enjoyable as well. We will absolutely make it a point to return to the area to play the rest of the new games opening soon as well as visit the other locations!

Rating: 3.5/5 Great room overall, I really liked it. The set looked high quality from floor to ceiling, it had lots of tech and fun magic references. Basically all the puzzles were magic themed which is ideal. The lighting effects were theatrical and well utilized. The room is very non-linear so there's a lot to do in one area so it'd recommend around 4 players, we played as a duo and it was fine though you may need to use a few hints like we did. The GM was friendly and helpful. These minor nitpicks are why I didn't rate this a ❤️: *A few too many "find the number" and "figure out the order" puzzles for my liking. *Would prefer if there were fewer generic padlocks and number pads, especially in a room with so much tech already. *One audio puzzle was annoying, it was hard to hear due to the ambient sounds. *A set of items were used twice even though the intro video specifically said items were only to be used once, this caused us to get stuck. *I would prefer if there were more areas to discover and explore like their other rooms. *No real story beyond the intro description, it's basically just a "heist" *Excluding the puzzles and magical props, the set itself was well made but not that interesting or unique like many of the other sets at this company. *No animatronics or fun characters to interact with like many of their other rooms. I preferred Mystery Manor over this room. MM has better progression, has a more interesting set, has more story, and was more fun for two people. UPDATE: My ranking of 60 to Escape rooms (all locations) I've played so far starting with my favorite: 1. Cheesie's Pizza Party ❤️ 2. Invasion ❤️ 3. Mystery Manor ❤️ 4. Hidden Temple ❤️ 5. Blast From The Past 👍 6. Arctic Expedition 👍 7. Magic Heist 👍

If you game ends after the mall closes, make sure you park by the Texas De Brazil entrance.

Another fantastic escape room at this location. I think I preferred Mystery Manor more because this room feels a bit less story driven and the setting isn't as elaborate. But the puzzles are fantastic, and I was very impressed at how well integrated they were into the room. They pack a lot of puzzles into a limited space, and it builds the tension quite well.
