4 escape rooms
Jurassic Outpost certainly earns it's place as the most difficult in the Schaumburg line up. While some of this challenge could be attributed to only playing this with my brother and I (although we are both pretty experienced and regularly complete rooms just the two of us), I think it would remain challenging even with a larger group. While we did have to ask for a couple hints and were provided some direction by out GM, we did make it out and complete a good number of the puzzles unassisted. I do feel like some puzzles leaned to heavily on just being complicated or time consuming rather than being difficult per say, but they were fun none the less. Like the other Schaumburg rooms, the set is great and the story is fun! I found the puzzle solutions to make more logical sense than those in some of the other rooms and this room focuses much less on item search mechanics than some of their other rooms. Definitely come locked in and prepared to start solving quick as there is a lot of puzzles to get through!
Gameplay
Lots of puzzles, always had things to do. Sometimes it felt like too many things to do though, as you are given the majority of the puzzles upfront without the ways to solve them. We became so focused on those puzzles that we often neglected or missed the puzzle we were supposed to be doing.
Atmosphere
Great atmosphere and set! Always a constant with the Schaumburg rooms.
Customer service

Good story! Pretty generic dinosaur plot but well executed and with a branching ending!
Difficulty
Hard
Very challenging with lots of puzzles!
Game tech
High tech
Lots of buttons and levers, but no screens or super novel tech.
Ideal number of players
4
3-4 would be ideal, I can't imagine 5+ due to the small space
Scary
Not scary
Not scary, unless your scared of dinosaurs
Minimum age
12
Very child friendly in theme, but difficulty may be hard for a kid
Was anything broken?
No
Nothing was damaged, although there is often a long pause after finishing a puzzle before the next box or puzzle unlocks, which led us to thinking we may have solved them wrong.
Live actors
No
Physically active
Not at all
Multiple rooms, no climbing or crawling. Not large enough to need to run around.
Accessibility
Like most 60 to Escape Schaumburg rooms, the room can be dark with no flashlight provided. There are a number of color based puzzles. Some exposition and machine feedback is given by audio with no visual cue. Room is small and could be difficult to navigate with mobility devices. No easy area to sit for a while, but a stool is provided later in the room. The room is also *loud* with constant background noise and *hot*
