clueQuest's escape game mission sends our agents out of the shadows into the sunshine. Explore Central London, uncover sinister secrets, and save the world!
42 escape rooms
The clues just got a bit samey after a while. Would recommend this more for a tourist than a local, as they could head in pubs along the way and discover the area.
118 escape rooms
Our first outdoor escape experience and we really enjoyed it! I think I would even recommend it to people who are visiting London for a few days. It does a good job of taking you sightseeing through City of London and drawing attention to some of its landmarks: the Gherkin, the Sky Garden, the Shard, the Monument, Leadenhall Market and others. You can pause the game at any time and intersperse any other activities you would like to do in the area, and you can take as long as you want to complete it. The puzzles are not very difficult compared to normal escape rooms and just require noticing different patterns in the environments. The story is somewhat superfluous like I've come to expect from ClueQuest, but there is something amusingly postmodern about having a digital mouse and sheep tell you that the corporation and public institution buildings around you are not real. 🤖
