Love this unique and distinctive theme. It’s fun if you go by at the right time to see them swing dancing and doing their performance.

While conveniently located, the $35 price tag leaves you feeling angry, ripped off, and taken advantage of. Definitely carpool if you can.

Prepare to be spooked. The Knott’s actors are waiting around every turn and know how to pop out at just the right moment to make you jump. The set design is highly detailed and designed for terror at Knott’s Scary Farm. A few cons: the mazes are all very loud with sound effects and music that do little to add to the ambience of fear but do make you want to get out quicker. There is high amount of gore in most of the mazes. We generally prefer haunts that rely on spine-chilling creepiness rather than ritual slaughter. But to each their own. The scare zones are where the scares are at! So definitely head there with your scaredy cat friends.

What a great idea for a theme! Super clever and extremely well done! This is without a doubt my favorite scare zone. We ate at Prop Shop Pizzeria, which has outdoor tables basically inside the scare zone! Highly recommend grabbing on of these tables for a long and terrifying dining experience!

Deadliest hooch on this side of the US. Absolutely love the over taking of memory lane for the goring 20s. It was indeed a magical place!

The Gore-ing '20s remains one of the best scare zones, filled with energy and story. Dance along with the revelers to the swinging tunes from the live band, or heed the warnings belted out from the Prohibitionists. Stop by the Blind Tiger and ring the doorbell for a nice little surprise. Making its debut in 2023, guests can finally partake in the Devil's Elixir, the mysterious drink that's making everyone go a little mad. The scare zone is one of the most highly interactive places in the park. Guests can engage in small chit-chat with the actors, learning tidbits of the plot. Actors encourage guests to dance with them in the streets, sometimes even forming a frantic conga line. The Gore-ing '20s is a fun festive environment with something sinister bubbling underneath.

I don’t want to call this a scare zone. Most times I just passed through and observe. I noticed that there were no sliders (maybe one) but they don’t rely on sliders to interact with guests. There was a lot of interaction amongst themselves and guest around them. It was theatrical. I recommend taking a moment and joining in on this interactive storytelling. Ask one of the Scareactors about the Devils Elixir and see where it goes. There are a few small set pieces that were pretty cool and I wish there were more of those scattered around because it just seemed empty and it’s not a big space either. There’s also a live jazz band that performs and the place turns into a block party. I kinda wished that jazz band would come down on the streets and perform. You should check out the Tiger Crawl and join in! Hopefully in the upcoming years it’ll keep getting upgrades.

I love watching the flappers and newsies in this area. The show on the balcony is entertaining and fun. They definitely stay in character & work hard over there.
