This was an outstanding addition to Chucky theming at Halloween Horror Nights. It was so meta, while being a love letter to the origins of the film, as well as the television series. While I wish it paid more of an homage, it was awesome to have it as a standalone thing, like Chucky was REALLY taking over.

I’m a Chucky fan, so I’m a bit biased. That being said, theme of the house is that HHN has given Chucky a haunted house that is not up to his standards. Our favorite killer doll (Aside from M3GAN) takes it upon himself to help make it a gore-fest. If you aren’t a Chucky fan, I’d say it’s worth a skip, but if you’re into the campy horror / dark comedy of the show, you’ll enjoy it.

It was “supposed to be bad” for the first half… what?? Once I understood the concept it was better, but I quite literally thought it was waaaaaaay too much build up for the lackluster house. If they had this much effort building the story for Last of Us, maybe that wouldn’t have felt rushed. Missed opportunity
