I really liked the flow of this. It felt like we progressed quickly and it had some really fun puzzles and tasks. Physically limiting/not very accessible, but manageable. Fun theme

Let me set the scene… the owner has a reserved parking spot in the front of the building, right next to a handicapped spot. I wish I could rate “ok” because I’m mainly turned off by this company because of the GM, not the game. It seems to be a common experience at 60 mins Escape to have excellent multi level games with poor service. (I’ve played both this and Frankenstein with the same result) In the end I’d prefer an average game with excellent service because the presentation really matters. Our guide repeatedly gave us the same clue when we asked for more help, talked negatively about previous guests in front of us, and told me to stop looking around during his intro. The game however was really interesting and more creative then most stereotypical Egypt themes. If you want to play a good room with challenging puzzles I’d recommend it, just don’t expect first class service.
Multi-level and mostly linear gameplay
Pretty good set designs with slight signs of wear and tear.. some “DO NOT TOUCH” signs detracted a bit from the experience
Not the best, our GM talked negatively about teams before us, told me to stop looking around during the intro, and overall left my partner and I feeling uncomfortable

Some unique puzzles
Not that notable.. classic Egypt game
Hard
Relatively difficult, only needed a few clues but probably not best for beginners

There was a piece of duct tape on part of the set that said do not touch, a wooden board covering a hole in the floor, and some general wear and tear. Overall, not bad for being open since 2016..

Game is technically playable but you would have to have at least one player who is pretty mobile. Would definitely be difficult for someone in a wheelchair.

Really turned off by the owner parking right next to the handicapped spot…

Great set design, but as others have stated, the final puzzle was frustrating. We made it to the final room with 25 minutes to spare with just two of us, and then just floundered on the last puzzle. We felt that the logic leaps were a little bit of a stretch and the puzzle itself was just kind of janky. It was a good concept, but some of it was, literally taped together. I think if everything worked perfectly it would be a great puzzle. Also after completing it, the last component needed to escape did not open for almost 30 seconds. We were waiting around for something to happen and it ate into our final minute.

We liked this room! It was fun and there were a ton of unexpected areas and the use of space was super unique. Every puzzle was themed which was cool, this whole room is well planned and flows in a great way. There are some hard areas of the room that require a lot of physical mobility and good vision (it's dark), so may not be optimal for all groups. Watch your head in here, there are low beams and other things that can get you if you're not careful. We had a great GM for this one, but had just done Frankenstein with a GM who was 4 days in and didn't know the room at all, and that room was broken. The person we assume is the manager told us basically, "yeah, that room is broken and the GM is new, that stinks. You'll like the next one more." Which wasn't great after 15 minutes were wasted on just one of the broken elements and the GM didn't know because they were too new and didn't have a supervisor helping them. That same manager person also greeted us by telling us we were late, even though we were there 5 minutes early with waivers already signed. Staffing aside, because the GM for this game was great, this is a super cool room and we do recommend it.

Feels weird saying a room has potential when it’s been open for quite a few years now, but it’s how I felt after escaping with just minutes to spare. The dimly lit room had wonderful ideas and amazing set design. I thought the use of floors for space was very interesting, but sloppily handled. The stairs are not the easiest to climb safely and quickly. For the most part, you will probably have to climb up and down it multiple times, and it’s a narrow passageway. Also, it’s a mandatory staircase to access puzzles. In addition, when we solved puzzles, or believed we solved them, it was hard to figure out what exactly opened or happened. Sometimes it happened on the opposite floor and the GM had to basically tell us where to go. Then… the final puzzle happened, and it was so confusing that the GM gave us 3 entire hints for it alone before we understood what to do. It felt like a puzzle where it’s amazing in theory and it probably sounds great in the designer’s head, but how it was signposted and executed was weak. Don’t get me wrong. It’s an excellent puzzle in theory, but I really wanted it to be better. I liked the room overall, especially the aesthetics. I just wish there was better flow and guidance. Shout out to the Scarab King for helping us pass an annoying puzzle! We’re not worthy!

If this room had good puzzles it would be one of the best I’ve ever played. The set design was incredible and expansive. They used the space they had really well. That’s about where the good things stop and the only reason the room doesn’t get a thumbs down. The puzzles had no flow and many were just straight up frustrating to complete. The final puzzle especially was annoying. It was a good concept in theory, but was incredibly repetitive and I found myself wanting to just get out of there and go home.

It’s not hard because of puzzle difficulty, but because of the lack of flow and logic.

My husband and I thought that this was the best room at this location when we played in 2021, but I still think it wasn't as good as the reviews seem to indicate.
