Welcome to the mysterious and foreboding world of “Pet Project”, where you will be transported to a secluded office on campus to fulfill a task for your seemingly normal professor. They are going away to a conference for the week and need help taking care of an office pet. Your group, graduate student in the professors class, have been tasked with the care of the professor’s pet – neither a cat or dog, this otherworldly creature is housed in a wooden box, adorned with heavy chains. As you set foot in the office, you’ll quickly realize that this will take more effort than simply putting food in a bowl. The office is shrouded in mystery, with every corner harboring secrets and puzzles that must be solved to ensure your survival. As you delve deeper into the professor’s office, you’ll discover what is needed to escape, and every action you take could have dire consequences. We really enjoyed this experience! It’s a newer room, so it might be subject to change, but we managed to barely escape using 3 hints. The puzzles were fun and the room/props were cool and on theme! Would recommend for intermediate to expert puzzle hunt groups with ~4 people. One note: There are “do not touch” stickers on a lot of the props in the room, which is consistent with other rooms at this location. It took me a while to get used to it, but as the GM will warn, you can still look at it and interact with it in ways other than touching!
The puzzles were a lot of fun! They were fairly sequential and flowed well throughout.
The set design was really good, and the props are all on theme, which was cool!
Josh was an amazing GM! He was welcoming and kept track of our progress throughout the hunt so he could help give hints promptly whenever we asked for them.
No
The room/props reflected the story, but the puzzles themselves don’t really flow with the storyline. There was a story but it was not very memorable.
Hard
The room was relatively new at the time we did it, so they might have adjusted it after. The puzzles ranged from easy to difficult. The room had a lot of puzzles though, so the hard part is finishing everything within an hour. We used all 3 hints and just barely scraped by!
Mechanical
It’s a bit of a mix — there are a lot of mechanical locks, but also some high tech sensors.

This room is mostly sequential, but there are some parallel puzzles that can be done. For these, it is useful to have some more people so that you use all the time efficiently.
Not scary
Puzzles are easy to reach, but theme-wise probably not the best for small children?
No
Everything was working well!

Not at all
Not much moving around or crawling. Some kneeling might be involved, but not necessary.
This room is accessible for people with issues with hearing and color blindness. There’s a part where it may help to kneel, but otherwise doesn’t require too much mobility.

Google maps is your friend!
Medium
Locked does not have a parking lot, but there’s street parking and a parking lot close by!
