Black Dragon

Might be biased bc I’m from Hong Kong, but one of my favorites of all time. Super unique start and gameplay progression allows for parallel processing. Set design one of the best I’ve seen and a lot of puzzles rooted in true Hong Kong culture, GM really helps tie the experience together.

The Hong Kong theme was perfectly done. We loved how every puzzle really tied into it. Everything was pretty straightforward. Our GM was super welcoming and helpful too. Definitely recommend!

Like many others have said, this is probably one of my favorite starts to an escape room ever. My unimpressed parents didn't recognize this part of Hong Kong, but the set was nicely done and expansive. There were a lot of great details put into the set and decor. The set was a good size and there was a solid amount of things to do. It definitely was on the easier side because we had 6 people (escaped in 42 min). In comparison, we struggled a bit more with 6ppl in Atlantis (57 min) and with 2ppl in Here, Kitty, Kitty at this location. Puzzles were relatively set to the theme well. GM is in the room with you, and s/he's in character.

We loved this escape room from start to finish. Lots of puzzles to solve, large space and incredibly immersive. Beautiful set design, super fun start to the game, innovative way of giving clues, a lot of different types of puzzles, lots to do in one hour. We escaped with a few clues and we definitely felt some time pressure! Overall this was a fanatic experience and we really enjoyed it! I think this was definitely one of our favorite escape rooms we’ve ever done. The puzzles weren’t too difficult or obscure but they flowed so well and it was just a ton of fun.

Set design was great and lots of rooms to explore, which was the best part. Very large space. However, I felt like the most of the puzzles were easy and very on the nose. It's only difficult because there's a lot to see and solve in 1 hour. It was very hot in there, so I was uncomfortable, but I guess that's kind of like Hong Kong weather.

One of the most elaborately decorated set designs I’ve seen. Excellent game design allowing parallel activity but needing collaboration as well. Fantastic beginning throwing you into the action. GM is in the room with you, but honestly it worked much better than my only other experience with that model as she was in character. Ultimately a traditional room, but top-notch.

Very fun and beautifully done room! We did it in a fairly big group which HELPED because there’s LOTS to do.

Very high quality, authentic and fun props and set up. The in game actor host was good too and played a role and gave hints that fit into the setting. The story was well thought out and clues connected logically. Challenged with 2 people, probably 3-4 recommended at least to win, but challenging enough that failure was satisfying! Fun lobby puzzles too. Would definitely come again!
