The world class, one-of-a-kind, escape room artist saw something in you! He saw talent and skill great enough to invite you to join his academy. But before joining Houdini's Academy, he wants to see your work on display in the flesh. Demonstrate that you can get out of the trickiest of situations, and that you can speak the language of a true escape artist. There's a bright future ahead for you and a lucky few if you can just show him what you've got!

My main issue was the wear and tear on one of the puzzles. Pretty much solved it by sheer luck. And some other features

I canโt possibly give a negative review to a room with so many fun and memorable moments. But as other reviews have said, the room is a little dated and in need of some maintenance (one particular puzzle-critical touch up is very necessary) My group completed it in 27 minutes. Difficulty might be more suitable for newer escape room players.
Yes
Street parking was not so hard to find.

Hmm, it was ok. I think, perhaps back in the day, it would have been better. I second the previous reviewer in that the game has seen better days. The wear and tear is visible and needs an upgrade if it would be continued to be promoted. One of the rooms was warm and I we did played in the evening (can't imagine what it would be like during the day). And, our crew was scrambling to figure out the next puzzle to get our member out of that sauna. Unfortunately the puzzle to get them out was pretty scuffed and illegible. We managed to finish the game witb 25 min to spare. As I'm typing this, I also realized we weren't offered a picture. Every escape room we did to-date had offered us a photo...just found it odd as I'm typing this.
Flow was fine, not the greatest room we played though.
Was alright.

Short version is, the game itself was fun and I enjoyed the puzzles (mostly physical based which is a fun change!) but itโs seriously neglected and my groupโs experience was overall disappointing. First off, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME ON A HOT DAY. It was in the 90s when we went, nothing too crazy just a usual hot summer day, and the lobby area felt fine but the room itself was a SAUNA. One particular portion of the room which I canโt mention specifically without spoilers was beyond unbearable and my teammate was pouring sweat while in that area to the point we were scrambling to move the game along to get out of the heat. I almost never complain to employees but it was so bad I mentioned that the room was too hot to our game master after, and I was met with absolutely no response or acknowledgement. Second, the game is showing major wear and tear. One puzzle has paint that is just straight up so physically chipped/worn down it was illegible and, even though I knew what I was supposed to do in theory, I had to just manipulate it randomly. Also a bunch of little details in the room are looking worn down enough that one object I actually was supposed to do something to, I stopped interacting with because I just thought it was more room degradation and didnโt want to break it further. Perhaps worst of all, the sound system for the game master was all garbled sounding so we kept having to ask him to repeat the things he said and strain to try to hear him. Finally, the service at 60out was the worst Iโve experienced after around 10 different escape room companies. I donโt blame the game master himself but the management, because they are clearly not invested in providing a personal experience for their guests. The game master said almost nothing to us after we escaped, didnโt even tell us how much time we had left or offer to answer any questions about the room, and there was no opportunity to take a group photo. That wouldnโt have been a make or break for me normally, but after the heat and the condition of the room it left a bad taste in my mouth about the lack of care in this company.

Echoing what some people have said. Strong start. But we were able to open doors and things we weren't supposed to open yet. After doing that twice, I didn't want to touch anything. I didn't feel satisfied for escaping at the end of it. :(

This was a super unique room, but wayyyyy too easy for us. We got out in 30 minutes. The puzzles were older and there werenโt very many of them. It had a really strong start, but the ending was anticlimactic. Also it wasnโt reset properly and we opened a door that wasnโt meant to be open right away. There were some memorable moments though, and those in my group who havenโt played as many rooms liked it more than I did, so good for beginners!

Easy
like SUPER easy. Good for beginners

This was so much fun! Noel was a great GM, and the puzzles were really wacky and fun. Loved how we started out, and some definite OMG moments. Not for the claustrophobic, but we all loved it. Our team of four had a blast!
