We really enjoyed Nevermore! This room is very immersive and well suited to the Edgar Allen Poe story that it is based upon. This room is spooky but not scary so if you’re worried about the other room at this location (which is also really great) this is a great option to test the waters. Don’t be deterred by the fact that this escape room is a residential living area, the inside is just as legit as any other escape room business out there! Also, the owners of this escape room are incredibly kind and passionate about their rooms.
Gameplay
The puzzles flowed very nicely! We had 5 people and the non-linear structure of some parts of this room meant that we all had things to do.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere for this room is very immersive and the attention to detail is great.
Customer service
The staff at Nocturne Adventures are all so welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do! There isn’t a strict 60 minute time limit for their rooms because they want you to see all parts of the room and they are happy to share additional details about the room afterwards.

The puzzles in this room are not very difficult if you have done any escape rooms before but they are well integrated with the story. If you have a smaller group of players or people who are new to escape rooms, this room might be a bit more challenging.

Some of the spaces in this room are a bit small but if your group is all well acquainted with each other, the room could easily accommodate up to 6 players!

There are no real jump scares in this room but the atmosphere is a bit creepy. This is a great option to get a feel for Nocturne Adventures before diving into “The Ripper”!

If you put the location into google maps, it is very easy to find (there is a sign at the bottom of the driveway for Nocturne Adventures). This escape room is in a residential area but I promise you that the interior feels no different than your traditional escape room!

The parking is not difficult to find but there is a limited amount of space. Definitely carpool with the rest of your group if you can!

This is hands down the best room my group and I have ever done (out of over 100). The atmosphere, the puzzles, the production was all just above and beyond. This is the gold standard for what escape rooms can be.

I loved this room! You can really tell that every detail was carefully crafted, from the set to the story to the puzzles. The haunted spooky mood of Edgar Allen Poe was well established, with beautiful set design from floor to ceiling, and props that are all on theme and very satisfying to interact with. The sound design was fantastic, and further deepened the sense of mystery and unease. As there was no time limit, you really get the opportunity to take in the environment and feel immersed. The puzzles were extremely well sign posted and flowed well from one to the next. The room was a joy to experience, and great for beginner to enthusiast alike. If you're going to do both this room and Ripper, I recommend starting with Nevermore before you're scared out of your wits in Ripper!

The set design is sumptuous and detailed, and the special effects and props are immersive and suit the space and theme.

We didn't need any hints, but the gamemaster (the owner) was a delight to chat with before and after the game, warm and welcoming and full of joy, she clearly takes great pride in the room and giving guests a great experience!

It sounds a little odd to say how much I loved playing an escape room in someone's basement, but I wholeheartedly stand behind my opinion of this room. Superb! From the narrative to the set design to the puzzles, everything was delightful! I highly recommend this room to enthusiasts and new players.

A great take on the Edgar Allen Poe poem. Locally built rooms and puzzles that don’t disappoint. Everything was clean and very satisfying. Don’t let the location dissuade you from checking them out. They are definitely worth a visit for any enthusiast.

What can I say that has not already been said. A quant and cozy atmosphere with wonderful host and phenomenal game experience. No item was misplaced. No detail not thought of. An immersive journey through the work of Edgar Allen Poe's world. Definitely one of my top five escape rooms that I have ever done.

* Nevermore may be played with a group of 2, but a minimum of 3 tickets must be purchased. Nevermore maintains a somber and spooky atmosphere throughout the experience due to theatrical lights and sound, but the game is NOT intended to be scary. There are no jump scares, no blood or gore, and no adult material. This is a family-friendly game. There will be moments of interaction with a live character during the game that might be unsettling for younger players, but the actor will never touch or grab anyone.
