The Ringmaster

Ringmaster is our favorite room at Dare 2 Escape so far 🎪 If you’re thinking about doing it, go soon because I’ve heard it might be replaced and this one is 100% worth playing before it’s gone. The vibe is really well done. It’s spooky but not actually scary, and they handle the clown theme in a way that feels fun and immersive instead of creepy for no reason (which I appreciate lol). The puzzles flow well and keep you engaged the whole time, and the ending is super unique. It’s one of those moments that makes the room stand out after you finish. Only complaint is that a couple of the locks were sticking which slowed us down a bit. Overall such a fun room and definitely my top pick at this location right now. Solid room overall. Interesting puzzles, cool set, consistent theming. Middle of the pack for Dare2Escape, which is to say it’s quite good as the company puts out fantastic games.

Fun game. Fantastic atmosphere and great concept. Mix of tried and true puzzles and so many unique elements perfect for the game We had a bit of an off day but got going mid-way through. Puzzles were fair and logical Would be perfect for three people but 4-5 adult sized humans would work (we did it with two) The folks running the place were fantastic - love the place and team there

Good room. We have enjoyed all of the rooms we have done here. Probably my least favorite of the ones that we have done, but still a good room. It does have a lot of locks to go through, so be prepared for that. I really liked the ending.

Pretty fun room, but nothing super special or exciting. There are better rooms at this location for sure. Some of the puzzles in here felt out of place or like we really had to reach to figure them out. Also, it is a bit spooky! If you’re scared of clowns or easily startled keep that in mind.

Overall a really fun and spooky room! Immersive and a fun take on the theme. A few frustrating puzzles but mostly because we’re not good at those types.

Overall a good playthrough. From the rooms i’ve played there though, definitely the weakest room. Nothing particularly spectacular or worth raving about but a solid room overall!

A really cool room and fun puzzles! Definitely challenging for just two people, like we had, but if you’re up for it, definitely fun for experienced players! Our game master made the experience though! Mandy was absolutely incredible at keeping to the theme of the room and being so supportive! I enjoyed that it was linear and nonlinear at points and the puzzles and atmosphere were perfect for the theme!

This is an older-style room with a good number of puzzles. I would say this is one of the better implementations of the “something is rotten at the circus” theme that I have seen. It’s got a couple of surprising moments, which I appreciated. It isn’t exceptional, and one early-game puzzle is underclued in my opinion, but overall it is competently executed and we had fun. Recommended.
