30 escape rooms
I was quite excited for this coming off of the reviews… but oh boy. The definition of “mid” really comes into play with this room. Coming off from doing Cinema 7 which was exceptionally well done. This was just a let down! I don’t know if it’s just me and how many rooms me and my partner have done, but we were just like “🤷🏼” after leaving. I’d say if you’ve never done a serial killer/cabin in the woods type room before, then sure go for it. But, this just reminded us of so many rooms we’ve done before.
Gameplay
I feel quite neutral about this entire room, the gameplay was fine, but there was one part in the first room that neither me or my partner could figure out. There was really nothing unique, just your run of the mill lock and key.
Atmosphere
The first room was quite nice, but again it’s the same old song and dance creepy cabin in the woods.
Customer service
Staff is really nice and helpful here, nothing wrong with them, game masters were helpful!
Particularly interesting or different
No
Not at all, maybe do a first timer. But if this is not your first room, you won’t be amazed.
Story
Again, if there was a neutral button this is where I’d press it.
Difficulty
Hard
Spoilers ahead!!!! The tire section… made ZERO sense to us. Even with explanation, we spent a solid 10-15 minutes on it.
Game tech
Mechanical
Nothing technical at all really, just a couple flashing light puzzles.
Ideal number of players
3
2-3 is fine. If you have four or more you’re really gonna get bored quickly.
Scary
Spooky
Nothing there to scare you really, just a vibe
Minimum age
12
If your kid can handle fake props, they’ll be alright!
Was anything broken?
No
Everything worked as intended.
Live actors
No
Nope!
Physically active
Somewhat
One small step for man (entering the house) and one small duck into a room!
Accessibility
If you have a broken arm you’d be alright, but not so much if you have mobility issues. I’d avoid.
Easy to find location
No
The first time we came here we had a little trouble finding it. It’s in the “pointe” Orlando behind the Maggiano’s and Main Event. Helpful tip for those visiting, just park somewhere free and walk. We parked at the Dave and busters and took a short walk over. There’s zero reason to pay for parking at the pointe.
Parking
Limited
DO NOT PARK AT THE POINTE!! Just find another business and walk from there!
