It wasn't clear what we were supposed to do, other than figure out whodunit. We had a party of 6 and one person was completely new to escape rooms. There was one sofa and three screens. We were given one small iPad. Videos played about the murderous event and some history about the suspects. Having not enough seating room for an experience that didn't require any movement seems like a faux pas, in my opinion. Having multiple iPads might help so one person isn't responsible for passing on info (yes, that was me). Also, the information provided in the videos and on the iPad were not enough to come to the correct conclusion. It requires you to assume instead of having information to process (which is counter-intuitive if you are an actual detective). Not a fan. If you do it, I would recommend no more than 3 people.

It's pretty much an online escape room done in person. Nothing interactive in the actual room you're in, just 3 large screens and you have to figure out who killed the victim based on the clues from the iPad they give youand the videos that play.

I hate to say it, but this is my least favorite escape room ever, and I've done about a hundred of them in China, Germany, Poland, and 4 states in USA (West and East Coast). Why did I dislike it? Because it's not a real escape room. You watch from 3 screens (at least they're big), but they're essentially cartoons of this story. You get a total of about 15-20 minutes of watching, and you get a bit of additional info on a tablet, and that's it. The level of interactivity is minimal, so with our group of 6, most of us were sitting around doing nothing. There's no physical interaction, and not even much digital interaction. Honestly, you can get more out of a mobile game escape room. It's a shame, since I've done another escape room from this place, and I was pleased with it. I'm wondering if they're willing to give a refund or partial credit toward another escape room (there's a third one I haven't done yet from there).
