Finally!!! We’d been planning this visit for so long—and now the day had finally arrived: Dream Labs in Bad Steben. Just that alone made us incredibly excited, but what awaited us there truly exceeded all expectations. It was simply a day we won’t forget anytime soon. So special, so immersive—we were completely swept away! The Legend of the Heartless Pirate was simply legendary for us. A room like that really sticks with you. An experience like that is unforgettable. Designed with so much love, passion, and attention to detail that you can’t help but lose yourself completely in it. Every setting, every atmosphere, every detail was perfect—and even the sound design was so harmonious that the immersion truly carried us from the first minute to the last. Our expectations were really high—and yet they were not only met but far exceeded. From the very first moment at the reception all the way to the very end, everything was just right. We were especially curious to see how the immersion would be introduced—and that, too, was so great, so creative, and so lovingly executed. A very special thank you also goes to our Game Master Ilona: You made this evening even more special for us. With your personality, you perfectly rounded out the experience and took it to a whole new level. It was one of those evenings where everything just clicks. That mix of anticipation, wonder, excitement, the joy of playing, and pure escape-room bliss. It’s exactly for experiences like this that we love this hobby. Thank you for this absolutely wonderful, special, and unforgettable evening. We were truly happy to make the trip—and would do it again in a heartbeat. 💛 Including our name in the game was sooo funny, too!

We had a fantastic family outing with our two adult daughters. "The Legend of the Heartless Pirate" has rightly been named Germany's best escape room. The whole experience makes perfect sense from the very beginning; it's funny and entertaining, full of variety, and crafted with great attention to detail. You'll get your money's worth and have a blast. I highly recommend this escape room!!!

The scenic work in all these games are just incredible! Every dream I stepped out of felt like I was transported to that world. They did such a great job making me feel like I was a pirate! I think I even said Aaaaarghhh unexpectedly because I literally became a pirate while playing! Haha! Loads of fun! The live actor was amazing! I didn’t want this game to end.

What a beautiful and lovingly designed space. It’s rightly considered one of the best venues in Germany. I’ve rarely laughed so much in a room.

My third time at Dream Labs—and by far the best one for me! I laughed a lot and felt like I was right in the middle of a pirate 🏴‍☠️ movie. That alone made the weekend trip to Bad Steben worth it!

This ist a very funny Pirate Dream. We had a great Game master and the setting is done beautifully . This is an adventurous dream not so much a Classic escape room where you have to solve one riddle after the next.

While i kind expected more it still was a great experience- just a little bit too easy , but beautifully crafted and 1 riddle that i have never seen before like that

The Tale of the Heartless Pirate by Dream Labs was the first game of the day and the seventh of our Bavarian Escape Tour, played with same team of 4. The experience was extraordinary from start to finish. The beginning was a bit confusing with two other teams arriving at the same time, but once the groups were sorted, we slowly got into the unique rhythm and immersive style Dream Labs was inviting us to. It’s hard to fully capture how impressively designed the environments and props were throughout. Everything felt alive and meticulously crafted, with a major story moment that completely blew us away, the highlight of the experience. Despite being two years old, the room felt absolutely fresh and well maintained. The puzzles were on the easier side, but so thematically aligned and smoothly integrated that it didn’t detract from the overall immersion. Highly recommended for players of all experience levels. Not surprised at all that it’s ranked in the Top 10 TERPECA 2024, it absolutely deserves it.

Hop in, dive down, become a pirate! The Dreampot takes you straight into a pirate adventure – full of humour, high-tech elements and great interaction with the actor. The gameplay flows smoothly and is especially fun with two or more players. An experience you definitely shouldn’t miss!

I’ve played quite a few escape rooms by now, but none has made me drift into another reality from the moment I entered the location quite like this one. I honestly wondered whether this was really an escape room or something more. The whole experience began the moment I stepped inside and kept me captivated until the very end. The live act was incredible and made me immerse even deeper into the world. Since we only stayed for one day, we asked if it might be possible to play Metropolis 2099 in the morning — and a staff member kindly opened the room just for us. We definitely have to come back to play Lost, the last room we haven’t experienced yet from this amazing provider.
