Really fun room!! Would be prefect for a birthday party or something just generally festive. Lots of really cool effects and a good variety of puzzles. None of them left me frustrated or felt clunky. That said, I wish one or two more puzzles were a bittt more difficult. The amount of puzzles made up for some of them being easy though. The room was super immersive with lots of fun surprises and overall the decor was really detailed and gorgeous!! The real candy in the room was an absolute highlight— I got an extra shot of serotonin every time I solved a puzzle that had some. Also the story was super clear and I was pleasantly surprised how well it flowed with the puzzles. Unfortunately the room uses really noticeable AI in several places that I think ruins some of the whimsy Our GM Haley was amazingggg, very sweet to talk to and always knew when to chime in. She was also very patient with us starting mildly late. If this room had one more difficult puzzle and swapped out the AI art, I’d say it’s 10/10. Until then 8/10

Gameplay

Non-linear but flowed well!! Good variety of puzzles

Atmosphere

Overall gorgeous, with lots of little details everywhere you look. More rooms than expected ❤️ Shame they used AI on some parts 💔

Haley was 1000000/10 We also had a male GM pop in and he was funny

There’s a LOT to do and it being nonlinear means sometimes you’re just standing there. That said the actual puzzles were pretty easy to pick up on.

Done 28 rooms so far and this was one of my favorites! The set was incredibly well designed down to every detail- including themed scents! The puzzles were so perfectly aligned with the theme and story, and challenging enough to make us work for our escape! We used a couple hints, but figured everything else out in just enough time. There were 5 of us, and that was enough. Some spaces are small, but there are multiple spaces to discover. The GM and the rest of the staff were the friendliest, most genuine people! Their enthusiasm was contagious! This room could be described as linear a bit (more so towards the end). The ending is definitely one of the more fun endings of a game I’ve ever done! All around love, love, loved it!!!!!

Through the Sugar Glass was such a cute and fun experience, and honestly the best way I can describe it is that it felt like Candyland turned into a full escape room. The moment you step inside, it feels like you’re in a magical, Christmas-like world that’s warm, whimsical, and full of nostalgia. We did this room with our kids right before Christmas as a special treat, and it ended up being the perfect choice. They had been asking to do another escape room, and this one was so family-friendly and fun that they enjoyed every minute of it. The set design was incredibly thoughtful, with so many cute details throughout the room. From the giant candy-themed elements like lollipops, gumdrops, gingerbread, and peppermint, to the overall atmosphere, everything felt like it was designed to make you smile. There were also a few fun surprises we weren’t expecting, which made the experience even better. It’s a room where you should be ready to move around a bit, since there are moments where you may need to crawl or go up stairs, but it all adds to the adventure and keeps it engaging the whole way through. One of our kids’ favorite parts was that there were sweet treats included during the experience, which made it even more exciting for them and added an extra little touch that felt special. Quest Tavern always does an amazing job with immersion, and this room was no exception. Even their lobby sets the tone and makes the experience feel fun from the moment you walk in. Our game master was Diego, and he was great. We had played with him before in another room, so it was really fun getting him again and seeing how he helped bring this experience to life. Overall, Through the Sugar Glass was a 10 out of 10 for us. It’s a great option whether you’re going with kids, with a partner, or just if you want something light, whimsical, and feel-good. We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend it.

This is a great room with lots to do, a very fun and silly theme, and an overall great experience. They make great use of the space and the room design is excellent. The only flaw was that there were some technical difficulties with one lock and one puzzle being a little finicky, but our Barman, Diego, kept everything running smoothly.

Gameplay

Very fun, lots of little elements that led to finding the clues and accessing the next thing were cleverly and cutely designed. The room could be done solo, but best with a small group.

Atmosphere

Great theme and design, love the props as well as the mechanical effects.

Customer service

Fun candy-themed game with cuteness turned up to 11. Great theming and a lot of puzzles. Mega shoutout to our GM Patrick who gave the performance of a lifetime before, during, and after the game, making us laugh and smile with his infectious positive energy.

This was such a great room! Cute gingerbread house/candyland theming (with actual candy you can keep!) We did this with two ppl. We usually play rooms with a team of 4 so we were unsure of how we'd do. This room is hard-medium probably. The puzzles were varied and interesting and fun. Having done a decent amount of rooms by now, it's great to still see new types of puzzles for the first time. There is at least one section where having 3 players would make it physically easier, but this room is totally doable with two experienced players who can communicate well. We got out with about 10 minutes to spare. Nothing really stumped us but our experience definitely helped, especially considering the nonlinearity of the room. The room is a small one but the entire space is utilized super well and completely interested in the theme/storyline so it's a strong recommend for 2-3 players!
