33 escape rooms
I love this location. They specialize in non-linear games and prioritize immersion, which I greatly appreciate. This room doesn't stray from their strengths and adds digital elements to the experience. I admit, while it was innovative, I am generally not the biggest fan of computer games within escape rooms. Nevertheless, I did feel like I was a space miner trying to repair our ship, and I greatly enjoyed it.
Gameplay
I'm torn, because a good half of the puzzles were digital. The physical puzzles were great. The room was prop-heavy, and the props were heavy! It enhanced the feeling of being a cosmic mechanic. Never did a puzzle feel weirdly out of place and mostly everything revealed was intuitive to the development of the game. But did anything stand out as one-of-a-kind? Not really.
Atmosphere
So rad! Like I said, this company does so well with immersion. Despite it being a fantastical scenario, the room felt grounded in reality. It wasn't cartoonish, there wasn't an inch of the room undecorated, the audio design wasn't distracting, AND they gave us high-vis vests throughout the game, so we got to dress the part. The digital aspects were also well-developed, so they carried the theme from room to screen well.
Customer service
Love the staff, love their energy, love their assistance while in the room.
Particularly interesting or different
No
Aside from the blend of digital and physical, nothing was totally novel to me.
Story
It was a good story! I got a bit lost in the plot towards the end. But on the fundamental note that we are miners and escapers, it was a solid story.
Difficulty
Medium
You're given a checklist of things to do that updates with every chapter of the room. It's easy to follow, but there were things hidden in plain sight that we kept missing. So look around!
Game tech
High tech
Screens and buttons!!
Ideal number of players
4
We did it with 2. We could've used at least one extra set of eyes to facilitate some things. Four people will give you great security and not be overwhelmed spatially, as this is a rather itty bitty room.
Scary
Not scary
One jumpscare, but in a very non-spooky way. Unexpected things that resolved immediately once you process it. Standard escape room startle, nothing to be worried about going in.
Minimum age
12
Younger kids surely would love the ambiance, but I just don't see anyone under fifth grade really liking this AND being useful to the group.
Was anything broken?
Yes
Only once did the gamemaster have to buzz in and say that a panel should've dropped and needed a tug. But they did it in an immersive manner.

Physically active
Somewhat
You are repairing a ship throughout. There's multiple levels, a lot of quick pacing around, some manual puzzles requiring firm grips. I was sweating. But I also get hyped up. Do with that what you will.
Accessibility
One color puzzle (I'm colorblind--my cousin saved us on that one). One person needs to get on the ground.
