You and your friends wake up in your Vegas suite groggy and hung over. You remember going to Vegas for the weekend to celebrate your promotion, but everything after is fuzzy. You look at the clock and realize you need to be at the airport in 1 hour to make your flight! Oh no! Where are your car keys? Passport? Tickets? If you can’t find all your items and get to the airport in time, that promotion will be gone!

Fun room perfect for a group of 4-5. Fun puzzles and great atmosphere. Javi our game master was perfect and always is.

The game environment and play was very different from this location's other experiences. Some puzzles were great and new types, challenging. The down side was the game master coming on too often to nudge and comment, especially since we said in the beginning we did not want any help unless we asked. Not having a timer in the room was a huge detriment and hope that it added soon. The noise level of the music was a distraction and we could not hear the audio based puzzles very well. The audio clues were too long and time consuming as well. Overall entertaining room but we like the style of the rooms made by Mind Trap designers better.

This room hit the jackpot for us! It’s a first and foremost funny room with a Vegas roulette spin! The set is a hotel room, and is a stark contrast to the other elaborately decorated rooms at Mind Trap. But it works well and provides a great illusion of being at Vegas. The puzzles were well-themed, but aside from one that confused us for a bit, most enthusiasts will probably find this on the easy side. But I think it’s a great room for parties, especially those of the adult bachelor/bachelorette variety. The room is kinda ridiculous in a good way. There are no explanations whatsoever to how some of this stuff got into this Vegas hotel room, but that’s the Hangover-style beauty of it. Just revel in the absurd, and have fun. I won’t spoil any more, because whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Viva Las Vegas!

Hilarious, hardly explained how any of these absurd Hangover things happened, but that’s the point

Fun theme. You start with a really cute puzzle but it was the one thing that felt out of place with the theme of the room. A lot of unique puzzle implementations. Only real downside was the amount of times you have to back and use the same prop as an information delivery system.

Having done the Mafia room here, we had super high expectations for this new room. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The room is fine by most standards, but compared to their Mafia room, this is a huge let down. Importantly, the ambient noise (jazz music) is so loud that it’s hard to hear other players or audio clues. The game play was all over the map. Some was super straightforward— here’s the code— others took 3 mental leaps to get there. So that was annoying. Maybe because it is new, there is no timer anywhere in the room. I find that annoying. I like to know how much time we have left. Instead the game master just shouted out every 5-10 minutes how much time we had left. Sigh…. Lastly, our game master was a nice enough guy but when we asked for a clue, he just told us how to solve the puzzle. And another time asked us if we wanted a clue. We’ve done 50+ escape rooms. We don’t like asking for clues unless we really feel stuck. And even then we only like to be nudged. So that was really annoying and definitely took joy and immersion out of the room. So while we wouldn’t recommend this, you have to check out their Mafia room. It is excellent!!!!!
