Interesting, but hard to describe. The theme was a bit much for me--even after playing so many horror games, it felt a bit too macabre. The puzzles were actually pretty decent, but out of all of the games with terrible lighting and too much loud music and too many strobes, this one seemed more intense than most. Also, it was a very dirty space and there was a restroom they didn't have a way to wash our hands afterwards.

This is a little hard to rate: I personally disliked the theme of the game, but I also thought aspects of it were pretty well done. Thumbs up to respect the intention and effort, but I personally wouldn't recommend it to friends unless I thought they would be OK with some problematic aspects.

I'm not a fan of horror. This was the first horror room I've played, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I indeed didn't click with the game. I think the worst part for me was the actors use of a gas chainsaw (presumably with no chain, but still) while we were crawling through a long section of ducts. Not being used to horror games, I panicked and fled into another player. While in the calm light of day I know the actors aren't really trying to hurt players, the entire point of a horror game is to create that terrifying scenario anyway. I think it's worse to doing so in a tight space. Also not a fan of the gas exhaust or loud noise (bring earplugs!).

Like a lot of horror games, this game is (IMHO overly) dimly lit.

In addition to not liking the horror aspect, the premise of the game didn't sit well with me - people had written bad reviews of a show, so we were supposed to help the actor murder the critics. Which... what? It's not something I'm OK with. I could forgive it if the vibe was more cartoony, or if there was some reason to think the critics had it coming (e.g. were corrupt), but apparently we were just killing innocent people.

Having said all that, the actual game itself was well done. The set was creepy and the murder scenes were memorable and (ahem) *executed* well. I got the sense that the creators wanted to tell a particular story and maybe didn't stop to think through the ramifications.

We played in English with no problems.
