Some good theming, puzzles were pretty standard. Overall fun room but the Diner was more immersive.

One puzzle was touchy in the sense of doing it, one was supposed to give you a code but didnβt deliver it but other wise everything worked as it should

This room disappointed me because I had heard it was a good room in San Diego; granted, this was a room I had done earlier on before I knew about Morty or the Spreadsheet. In the end I felt like the puzzles fell flat. It has potential to be a great room but it doesn't quite hit the mark. There were some puzzles that were not super clear and required abstraction. One puzzle in particular REALLY bothered me because there were multiple sets of the same item that had to be unscrambled but we didn't know each one had to be kept on its own. There were no color cues to distinguish which set matched once they were mixed. Additionally, the room included several of the same locks (key lock, number combos) that were not unique. They were not color coded, some were the same color, and when we obtained something we would have to check multiple locks to figure out which one matched the solution. There were no clues to distinctly point to which lock a puzzle corresponded to.
The game had multiple traditional locks that were not clearly linked with each puzzle and were not distinctly color coded. This meant that we had to try keys or combos on multiple locks to figure out which one worked. Some of the puzzles were frustrating. One of them included multiple of the same item from multiple puzzles to complete but if you mixed them up, you had a hard time. Another puzzle felt very abstract and only made sense once we got a clue.
The atmosphere was ok. It was a very traditional (mostly gen 1) room, and the set was average. There are definitely cool parts but I felt like it just slightly missed the mark.
I wasn't a big fan of the GM. She gave us a lot of hints either preemptively OR late. It caused issues because we would see the text hint change ... After we already solved the puzzle. We were also super rushed out of the room at the end despite having a couple minutes left.

This room was a very interesting room. The theming was super cool and pretty. Some of the puzzles were really hard and challenging, but we were 2 first timers and one 2nd timer. And we managed. It over all was a good time.

Wished we had played with more people. There were only two of us, and there is a lot of puzzles to get through. Itβs well done! Challenging.
