Fun room. You're in near total darkness for a while, and even once you get some light it's still a very dark room. The puzzles were fun overall, although we did need a few hints. The last two puzzles were great and we absolutely loved them.

Game tech
Mechanical
There is a little bit of tech, but the majority of locks are mechanical.
Ideal number of players
2
There isn't much parallel puzzling, almost everything is located along the room's perimeter, and the lighting conditions make it extra challenging to work on things together, so imo this room is not well suited for more than 3 players.
Scary
Spooky
Definitely not a horror/scary room in my book, but you start out in near total darkness which may make some players feel nervous or uncomfortable. You eventually find some light sources but it remains an extremely low light environment. The walls are padded, which may give you a hint as to the setting. There are no jump scares or creepy ambient audio, but the narrator (audio clues, time updates) does sound unhinged and creepy. I think the majority of people would be okay, but if you're uncomfortable in the dark or have a very low threshold for creepiness, I would give this room a pass.

Was anything broken?
Yes
We had to skip one puzzle because our light source wasn't bright enough for us to see it properly. I think it was probably a fluke: we played on new years day and it was super busy, and I could see it being easy to miss that a battery change was already needed.

Accessibility
Some puzzles have essential audio. I had to reach up to access some compartments, and kneel down for several locks that are below counter height.
