The Disappearance at Fogmore Manor

This room and company has a special place in my heart!!! It’s part of a handful of companies in San Diego that just OOOOOZE passion from the designers and owners. Great for a small group of dedicated enthusiasts. More fun if you have people that can oooh and ahh at clever puzzles. I played this years ago but hope it never goes away.

Really enjoyed the game! I like that it is part of a series and the other available games are related. The worker was super nice and payed attention to our gameplay. Overall great experience and I plan on coming back to play the other games!

This escape room was incredible! I loved how immersive it was. There was a lot of detail put into making us forget we were not actually at Fogmore manor, and the hour flew by! The puzzles were challenging but not unnecessarily hard & the game mechanics were super creative! (Not just locks and keys!) My group was 3 people (all experienced at escape rooms), and we got out with just a couple of minutes to spare! The atmosphere was very immersive which added to the energy of the game. Fogmore is a linear room & very straightforward. (I don’t have a preference, but I know some people do). We will definitely be returning to continue the story in the bayou & London fog! (copied from my google review) The only "downside" for some may be the extensive video beforehand, basically a short film that really got us into the story.

Fun. Very linear so the smaller the group, the better. Some fun reveals and puzzles, but requires a lot of reading, which can get a little tedious. Good mix of combo locks, key locks, and mag locks. Some cool props and set pieces, too.

Really enjoyed this room. Very high tech locks and puzzles. Good story line. Recommend for experienced players or for groups of 6+

This was, by far, my favorite room of the 3. Really unique puzzles. Great story line. A bit of a challenge but we escaped with 2 people. This was a very linear room but I tend to like those best. I would go as far to say that this was one of my favorite escape rooms of all time.

A pure linear game that has a lot of heart. But involves a lot of reading from a book to tell you basically what puzzle is next and how to do it. While this has won an award I’m not sure it stands the test of time.

This room is very well done and extremely challenging. The room designer is amazingly detailed. Very linear room, but tricky at times making sure you correctly moved on to the next step correctly. Overall, I’d give this room an 8 out of 10.

The first in their trilogy of rooms, it’s a solid linchpin with a mix of locks and third gen. The owner is a former computer programmer and you can tell that he’s having fun with his puzzles! The puzzles were challenging and in theme and I’m amazed at how well the creator estimated the number of puzzles needed to maximize the time (talk about getting your money’s worth).

Start with this room if you're going to do an escape room at this place. If i had to guess, this is probably the first room created here. Nice fun room but the production value in the other two rooms here is a bit higher. Still highly recommend
