There were some fun puzzles in this, but a lot was broken or poor quality, and the GM was oddly rude and bossy over the intercom for no reason (but I'm not sure she knew she was being rude, so benefit of the doubt!) . We were scolded for turning on the lights (...why is there a light switch then?), we were told to put something back where it was before (...isn't that part of reset?), and we were asked to "leave the room" after we finished (guess we can't linger for 30 seconds... Ok, got it!). Moreover, not everything was reset when we did the room (that explains why she asked us to reset another piece over the intercom, I guess!). This completely ruined the final puzzle (the lock was just open and the puzzle to get to the lock was left already solved from the prior group). We raised this and got no offer to replay something else or a better discount for a different room. Instead the GM said "I also don't understand this room - I keep telling them they need to fix this. This is why I don't recommend this room... " If your employees are openly discussing how bad a room is, it's time to take it off your website while you rework it. Tons of red herrings. We found out from the GM that they are leftovers from the previous iteration of the game so they just left those puzzles in... Which lead to nowhere.
It was OK. The GM and lack of setup was the worst part of this game. Some of the puzzles were fine, but not great. The red herrings were obnoxious.
Poor quality components and random leftovers from the old pirate themed room made no sense in the context of the room.
One of the worst GM experiences. Why are we being treated like kindergarteners who are breaking the rules?

I saw that this room had negative reviews but went anyway just to say I had done it. It was NOT good. It is literally their old room, Silent Tide, with laminated pieces of paper with new clues and a lot of ‘Please don’t touch’ signs to make sure you don’t start doing the old puzzles from the previous room. They didn’t even take them down or retheme this in anyway. It was terrible. The owner asked me if I were to add a new game and take away a room what would I do. I said get rid of this one and just bring back the old pirate room. Again, this room is TERRIBLE and NOT worth playing unless it’s the only game in the world you haven’t played. And even then, maybe play a board game at home.

This room was very fun and unique. It had a lot of silly easter eggs and was themed greatly. I would definitely recommend!!

one of the best themes I’ve ever seen in an escape room!! you can tell a lot of love and effort went into making all the videos/puzzles fun and unique :)

Review update: Morty is meant for honest peer reviews. It is very sad to see that people are coming onto Morty with 1 escape room done and rating this room as good. It’s obviously an inside review and that is a shame. Double thumbs down for this company after seeing this bogus reviews being published. Unfortunately this was one of the worst escape rooms I have done. They didn’t even take the time to tear down the old room and reused a ton of props. I felt like I was in a pirate room that was supposed to be a museum but it for sure didn’t look like a museum. The puzzles were almost all laminated pieces of paper and felt like they had nothing to do with the theme. Super low budget and not even worth $10 to play. I have never said this about an escape room before. But this is a serious downhill move for this venue.
