I’m not sure the reviewer from 2023 is reviewing the same place I am. This room and company are worth your time; it is challenging, it is doing weird stuff, and it’s ambitious. To further address the previous review, Aubrey (the owner) didn't warn me about being rough with items; in fact, he only said two things: don’t undress the dummy and you don’t need anything under this section of counter. This room and company focus heavily on searching, so channel your inner eagle. I did this solo (actually, with my baby, so it was extra difficult), and searches are my kryptonite, but I still managed to find most things without help. The actual puzzles are signposted well and require you to make connections in multiple places. There are many novel props here, and the room opens up in some nutty ways. It's not always polished, and some things are likely too difficult for newbies, but it strives to do something different.

We did not complete the game, however I will say that was the game masters fault in my opinion. When we walked into the room he pointed out puzzles and said numerous times how to touch items. Two particular items were pointed out and said that they are fragile and gave a list of thing to not do to them. Both were part of the game but we had assumed they weren’t because of how much he made sure we knew they were fragile. By the time we got his tour and commentary on the room, every time we touched something that took a little effort we thought we would break it. There were signs saying gently pull but it took quite a bit of effort. We basically walked on eggshells in the room. My 16 year old said “this room is ratchet” and I would agree.
We were scared to touch things.
