This room was a very fun experience and had a pretty strong Benjamin Franklin theme throughout the room (sounds weird, but it's true). The puzzles were fairly easy to follow, but I did get stumped quite a few times. Playing solo hindered me a bit, as there were some puzzles that needed at least two people to complete. Also, for anyone who may have difficulty seeing in low light like myself, this room can be a bit difficult, as your only light source for the majority of the room is small candle.
The gameplay was fun and there were some nice puzzles that felt different from what I had seen before. The game felt like it was linear, but felt very non-linear in practice. The space isn't really large enough to house that many players, so a max of three players is probably best.
There wasn't really too much in the way of props and set design, but the place is dark the entire time, so it doesn't really change much. There are a couple of Ben Franklin easter eggs that do add to the atmosphere as well, but it wasn't very impressive.
The staff, my GM, and Willie were all wonderful.

The room isn't the scariest, but you play the game in a pretty dark room for the majority of the game. The space is also fairly small, so I wouldn't suggest larger groups in the space.

GM was awesome and in character, no complaints about him. My main dislikes are from the room itself. First room puzzles were okay, we went through it pretty quickly. Some puzzles I thought were cool but, I think me and the person I did it with got stuck with this one puzzle where there was no direction on how to get it. Puzzles when you get to them should tell you how to solve them within themselves. I shouldn't be trying every combination on a lock because I found 5 other solutions. I should know where each solution goes, not trying to figure out where each one goes. GM had to give us the answer and we still didn't know how he got to that answer? We were left scratching our heads wondering what was the relation, and that kind of broke our flow because we were truly confused haha Could be a skill issue but $40 is $40 and there are way better rooms near this one that you could do, and I would 100% skip this one, felt very half assed and no care put into it at all.
Did not flow well, some puzzles made no sense and seemed more like a time waster. Like there was math involved, pretty simple math but I feel like you never feel smart solving them you always feel dumber because of how long it took you to solve them. A lot of the puzzles are also hard to see. One of them we couldnt see it because it was yellow on white in a very dark room, and we basically wasted 10-15 minutes on it. Another one had an alignment issue. And another one was based on smell but they all smelled similar so we were just left guessing lol.
Felt like a wallpaper was put in an office room. Like in animal crossing where you can set the wallpaper for the room, very little immersion. You can also hear the other room which is a horror room, which breaks immersion even further.
Again, nothing against the GM this room is probably the worst room I've done.

Not really, only one puzzle I thought was kind of cool but there were too many puzzles where I felt they were time wasters.
Pretty boring.

Puzzles were easy. Again, just the execution of them was poor and left us unsatisfied.

Fun though straightforward game! A couple of unique puzzles and one riddle that I’m not sure we would have ever solved without a hint, but maybe that’s just us. 4 is a great group size for this as anything more and you’ll feel a bit cramped. We enjoyed our experience!

Small, densely-packed and dimly-lit Gen 1 room. The colonial flavor is as strong as the in-room tea service. Our Frengamin Banklin was fantastic!

I did this room a long time ago when it was still at Escape Room Era. Everything was familiar at Escapades location but in a much smaller space. It was pretty crampy with just the 3 of us. The lighting was a lot dimmer than the original which made it challenging and I liked it better at this location. I just wish there were more candles to roam around with. This was a pretty fun Gen 1 room!

Definitely enjoyed this more than the Christmas version. Struggled on some of the puzzles but it was so interesting

First game at Escapade! Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Jacob even gave us a sneak preview for their new room! Game itself ran smoothly, some cool puzzles I haven’t seen before. 100% homemade, original room. Some alignment issues with the last puzzle. I’d come back, especially for Zoe! Four people was a bit cramped in here, I’d say don’t go above four.

We were on it today and it felt like everything clicked. However, the puzzles were really cool and there were ones I hadn’t seen before. Really enjoyed this room and our GM Jacob was great
