Very family friendly game. My kids LOVED it! Even my youngest was involved and enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend for families with young kids!

You decided to all fit in the wardrobe that you thought was a mere story. But, as you push through the coats and enter a wonderful land you find the story is not just a story after all. This realm of astonishing wonder and mystic beauty is in great need. A palpable sorrow blankets this land, for the crimson dragon has imprisoned the very light that once illuminated the world. Amongst the inhabitants of this land, stories abound about the light’s talismans, which, when united, can summon a champion capable of vanquishing evil. This rooms was incredible! The flow was great and we were engaged the entire time. The game maker really outdid himself. Highly recommend!

The experience was enchanting. The smell of a forest, the lamps, the mystic decoration, and the sound instantly brings you into another world. The game had a clear progression yet there was a lot to look at and handle. It is always good to find new types of puzzles, which made this beginner to intermediate room fun. I would definitely suggest this room. Just be ready not to use the same old rules you use at other escape rooms. This really got us out of the comfort zone of rinse repeat into that new experience feel.

Very honest review: this game came highly recommended and it just didn’t live up. Game master arrived 10 minutes after our game was supposed to start, very unfriendly and monotone with no excitement towards the room. The props in the room were all handmade and very creative which was nice, but clues were incorrectly placed out of order and multiple pieces needed to be used twice which was not explained beforehand. After reading other reviews I think we got unlucky with the day we picked becuase otherwise this had very high potential.

This game was unlike any other game I’ve played before. Both games we played at this location are different from your typical escape room. They were both fun and I believe would be perfect for families looking to start exploring what escape rooms are all about! A great thing for a beach town! Certain “rules” (like one and done) don’t apply to these games. There was also more guess and check in both rooms than I’ve ever encountered elsewhere. This could be a strength for some players, as an enthusiast who is not used to these rules, it’s a bit of a learning curve! The owner is so passionate about what he does and you can really tell that he loves bringing groups together to bond over his games. He builds it all himself, which is so impressive! He also was so kind to chat and answer all our questions afterwards!

We are very sad that we have now completed every room here at Breakout Adventure. We can’t wait until he adds his new one this summer. Every room holds so much fun and attention to detail. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the staff is incredible.
