8/10 I do not understand the hype around this room nor it’s high ranking on TERPECA’s top 100. I’m giving this room an 8 simply for the outrageous production, lighting, effects, and sound design. As the name entailed, you will Hide and Michael Meyers will Seek. And it gets old FAST. This experience has so much potential but is completely tarnished by its illogical puzzles, slow pointless cut scenes, and poor room layout. The use of sound and lights makes it unbelievably confusing as when it’s time to hide or when there is a cinematic moment. Having played many hide and seek type of horror escape rooms, this one is my least favorite. If the point of your room is to hide, maybe give more places to hide than two areas? Like I said earlier, the concept loses its novelty fairly quickly. The story makes absolutely no sense. For some reason it’s in a hospital? And the finale, when we finished the room, I let out an audible “What?” From a production standpoint point, the lights, set design, and sounds are top notch. But that’s about all I can say positive from this room.

Out of my team, I had the most close calls with Mr Myers , which were the most memorable parts of the game for me. I also appreciated the finale, which was unique. This game has been the most hyped game to us by locals of Athens. This appears to be very realistic for locals of Athens. As Im from America, it did not feel as real, raw, and terrifying to me as Sculptor. Sculptor might be more fear-inducing for Americans, particularly American women, whereas Hide N Seek seems to be more fear-inducing for Greeks. I think Greeks may like Hide N Seek more than us because they could play one game at a time, as opposed to a marathon. Since we are doing 30 games in 9 days, my team felt one of the puzzles was a bit tedious, & we felt the hiding was prolonged. Perhaps a solution could be that an option could be offered to players to shorten that puzzle, & to shorten the periods of hiding.

I'm so torn on this experience, as there were some things that didn't work for me and a framework that was really promising. I wanted so much to love it, but some issues kept me from fully enjoying. First, the puzzles were not entirely logical. There were a few points in the game when we required an excessive amount of guidance to follow the logic of what to do next. I know in horror games, though, not everyone cares about the puzzles. Second, for me personally, there was too much running and hiding. It ceased to be scary and exciting, and more of a chore. In addition, the music cues weren't always clear as to when we should hide and when we should keep playing. The music was ridiculously loud, to the point of being deafening. We could not hear each other at points over the music, even when we were screaming right next to one another. There is a heavy use of smoke and dim lighting that made it difficult to move around and at some points made puzzles very difficult to solve and move the story forward. Finally, the plot could use simplification, but that was a minor issue. One the positive side, I get why people are raving about this game. The set was on point and felt real. The intro to the game is also unique and perfectly set. The actors were phenomenal--the lead could definitely be cast in a Hollywood horror movie. And, the conclusion was totally unique and something I've never seen in hundreds of games played. That doesn't happen much and I truly appreciated it. I also have to give props to being well air conditioned. It sounds petty, but playing these extra long games in stuffy rooms where you are crowded in and running a lot can be miserable. We may have been on the run from a killer, but we weren't literally sweating it. I think with a few tweaks, this game could be epic.

You will find something but it's in the middle of a very bustling town. There are a ton of food and shopping places right by, which is nice.

The hottest game in Athens at this moment it seems, everyone is talking about it. An empty slot came up so we booked it The Game has a beautiful set! It is truly amazing, the game is exciting, has great cinematics and of course Michael Myers. And lets be honest, nothing is ever cooler then that right? Only problem i would say is some puzzles were not logic and it took us so long to solve some and it took the flow out of the game at times But for sure a must play
