What happens when the bloody stories of the past become flesh and blood before your eyes? You cannot influence their development except to observe as passive spectators. The pen in his hands reincarnates into a weaponized pistol and the words imprinted on the pages turn deadly. No one knows who is behind the writing of these three best-selling novels which, while selling thousands of copies a day, were immediately discontinued as they seem to have inspired the serial killer who kills his victims in exactly the same inhuman ways described in these books. You, as die-hard fans of the anonymous author, discover after much research an address many kilometers outside the city, which is rumored to correspond to the home of the "Ghost" author, and decide to visit him to get your hands on an autograph, if of course he is friendly with you... Get ready to experience the ultimate horror novel in a vivid and interactive escape experience where fiction and reality are one page apart... The only thing that is certain is that some stories would have been better if they had never been written...

9/10 The Ghost Writer, in my opinion, is among the scariest games in Athens, if not the world. But don’t let the horror detour you, because this is also a spectacular puzzle based escape room. Which is rare for Greek horror rooms. The story is beautifully woven throughout your experience as the impeccable flow guides you from puzzle to puzzle, moment to moment, effortlessly. I never felt lost or asking myself, “What next?” Every step you take has been accounted for in this spectacular choreographed escape room. Prepare for intense one on one moments with the fantastic actors as you are challenged to solve riddles under heart pumping pressure. Your adrenaline will be through the roof and the hairs on your body will stand on end. Try to get yourself an autograph. You’ll be thankful you did!

Out of the 30 games I have played in Athens, Ghostwriter is my favorite. Out of the 241 escape rooms I have played, Ghostwriter is my # 1. I really hope this room gets Terpeca nominated because I want to rank this room highly. The actors did an exceptional job. They really immersed us into the story, and allowed it to unfold in a crystal clear manner, which sets this room apart from others. The scares were great, and the puzzles were enjoyable. They used lighting to indicate where one should be, which we appreciated. The noise was at an appropriate level at all times. I regret that I did not perform more in a particular scene as I was worried about breaking basic escape room etiquette. They appear to be a bit more lenient in this location. Another aspect that I felt made the experience interesting was discussing with the team after the game. I felt the team’s energy was very unique & fascinating. Feeling a vast contrast in energy made even the discussion immersive & intriguing.

For me one of the best games in Athens! Super spectacularly directed cut-scenes / cinematics with and without dialogues! Like a real movie! Intriguing puzzles medium+ difficulty Very intense and raw at times and really at a very high level of psychological horror at others. It combines everything. Full 2 hours gameplay with continuous flow. Masterpiece!

This is an absolutely beautifully done & theatrical experience that deserves to be one of the staples in the region. After doing 25 rooms in Athens, this was my favorite. In my opinion they nailed every aspect, from the acting, to the lighting, to the set design and of course the puzzles. If you’re planning an escape trip to Athens make sure to add this game to your schedule.

Nice looking room, nice people, had some good scares but then they over did it and it wasnt scary anymore. Some cool cinematics and moments that i still think about often. Not the banger i hoped it to be but still enjoyable.
Started very good and grounded, but soon went a little too far and off the rails. Would be better if they kept it simpler
