The Sherlock Home

We loved the house with all the wonderful scenery and puzzles. Although the beginning was a bit slow, things really picked up and got exciting in the second half. There was a lot of searching and we had to use some clues but we had a lot of fun.

The Sherlock Home is excellent both as a comfortable place to stay and as a multi-hour set of puzzles that use almost every room in the house. It is far more than just a couple of paper puzzles and a lock or two. It has a surprising variety of interactions and reveals, great story, and a terrific incremental hinting system to get you unstuck without spoiling puzzles. Very very highly recommended.

I am still in awe about the experience they created. I don't want to give away anything - trust me - book it. The house is in a quiet neighborhood in a great part of San Antonio. The house was very clean and comfortable. I can't wait to stay at their next adventure.

Wow! This airbnb is truly one of a kind! We booked this place for one night only for our Texas Eclipse trip, and had a remarkable time. Everything, from entering the front door, to solving the final puzzle was a fantastic experience. One of the best escapes in Texas, genuinely. Book this experience - I promise you won’t be disappointed. Solved in about 3 hours.

Oh my god. Just finished. The immersion and environment is amazing. I’m definitely nominating this for TERPECA this year. Falling asleep and waking up to a puzzle house, isn’t that the dream? Kudos to the owners.

OH..MY..GOSH. We had high expectations for this room and it exceeded them in every possible way. The decor was AMAZING. The puzzles were more challenging than an average escape room, but without the time pressure, we were able to really dig in and analyze everything to come up with the solutions. Emotionally we ran the gamut from being overwhelmed at first, to settling in and working the puzzles, to not wanting it to end. The hosts were excellent - worked with us the change the date a couple weeks prior to our original reservation; good communication before, during and after; and some personalized touches that made us really feel welcome. This was a great choice for our 150th escape room.

Absolutely worth it! A unique experience and a really amazing journey. 100%!
