The crown jewel of 13th Hour Escapes. Rolls all of their set design expertise and puzzle design into a singular experience that will have you WORKING from start to finish. We finished by the skin of our teeth as a duo so do not let some of these inflated team recommendations put you off. Truly a joy to experience, couldn’t recommend it more highly

Absolutely one of my favorites. Not only is a 90 minute escape room a blast and waaay more satisfying than an hour, this room is awesome overall. It’s huge, and very well made.

One of the best escape rooms I’ve ever been to! Quality is fantastic, storyline is great, really gets your brain going, employees are top notch. I will ALWAYS recommend this place to anyone!!!

This room was great! We did it with 8 people and had 12 min and 46 seconds left at completion. The set design, story, and effects were so thrilling and really made the game that much better! I’d highly recommend doing this with a group of 5 or more due to certain puzzles requiring a good amount of people. It’s also a tough room for newbies. Everyone who played in my group are escape room staff at another location and have a good amount of experience.

We were trying to rescue a camper, and only by playing can you find out how the stories play out because. . . you're in it of course! There is a ranger to help guide you on your way. I was surprised about the "weather" elements which might make you cough, but it is so awesome to also experience that effect in the escape room environment. The puzzles are more than reasonably interactive and some of them are particularly difficult.

The game was a bit difficult, a lot of steps. No locks, lots of puzzles.

Absolutely loved this room! Started off great with the intro and then the room look and puzzles were also fantastic! Only real issues were a puzzle not working that required the game Master to come in and fix for us. Then giving us hints about things we already solved instead of the next step we actually needed help for setting us back several minutes. All in all even being a brand new room that needs some kinks worked out didn't stop us from immensely enjoying ourselves. Will certainly be back to try there other rooms!

We love 13th hour and were SO excited when we heard about their 90min camp themed escape room! It was so cool and as immersive as their other rooms. It was so much fun, but we were very far from finishing even with a ton of clues. There were a few clues where the GM had to come and be physically evolved for us to complete them, so I would recommend they update the required number to 3+. Difficulty level is VERY accurate. That said, it’s brand new and they were clearly working out the kinks. I struggled with the special effects (very hot and smoky). There were two elements that were not functional. I’d recommend going in a few months at least once they get some elements perfected.

Ready to leave for Summer camp that you probably would not want to sleep away at? Well, welcome to Whispering State Forest! To nobody’s shock - 13th Hour hit it out of the park yet again. We’ve done so many escape rooms (including every room at 13th Hour) and genuinely were out of our minds with excitement when The Campground room was announced. Nobody - and I mean nobody - does an escape room at the level as these guys. The rooms are creative, fun, challenging, and so incredibly thoughtful and intentional to ensure you have a great time while really working your brain. The staff and team here are so fun and helpful, and the incorporation of a more “live actor” type experience in this one was so silly and different - we’re obsessed. We did this room with 3 of us, not pros by any means, but we love a good escape room and have done plenty. Be prepared to WORK - there are so many puzzles and the 90 minutes absolutely flies by. We used almost our full 90 minutes and were so excited that we escaped with a little over a minute to spare. I would keep going on and on but I don’t want to spoil anything so take this review as your sign to go experience it for yourself!
Fantastic. It flowed extremely well, and every puzzle was thoughtful and integrated into the room and theme.
Nobody does an atmosphere like 13th Hour. 10000/10
Incredible, as always. Love the team here!

Always so creative - I appreciate that they took a classic trope like Camp/Cabin Mystery but put their special spin on it to make it a completely original gameplay experience.
Also amazing - so fun and silly and thrilling.
Expert
Definitely need some experienced players in your corner - it would have been much more difficult if we weren’t familiar with the 13th Hour style of games and puzzles as well.
Mechanical
Honestly, both.

A younger kid could do it if they aren’t scared easily!
No
Nope, everything worked great (other than that we did have some coughs and watery eyes from an effect in the “outdoor” portion)
Yes
Yes! But not in the way you think - and not scary at all!
Very
Lots of running around and back and forth and laying down, crouching, etc.
It’s not the most accessible - there are stairs to consider, narrow passages, color coded puzzles, buttons to press, needing to crouch in small spaces, etc.
Yes
They give clear instructions although we also have been here before plenty of times.
Easy
Easy as always, there’s plentiful parking!
