So much nostalgia in this room! Puzzles aren't quite as good as the other rooms here, but still a lot of fun and a great room!

I love this room equally to Cheesie’s for completely different reasons. The whole concept and vibe of this game is both creative, fun, and hilarious. Again, the character at the core of this game is fantastic, and the puzzles and design are all top notch. This is truly a premium escape room company.
Very clever puzzles, although simple.
Everything feels either nostalgic or just plain epic.

I shan’t say here without spoilers, but it’s anything but a normal video rental store.
Absolutely love the manager at this video rental store.

This is my favorite room at this location (with a certain mouse coming a close 2nd) and probably my favorite room that I’ve done so far (out of 42) all time. There were things I’ve never seen before in escape rooms being done in this room. The animatronic is soooo coool. It’s also super nostalgic. I loved going to the movie store to rent movies as a kid with my dad and this brought back all the memories. I would love to just have this set design as a man cave in my basement. It’s that cool. If you can only play one game at 60 to escape let it be this one. You won’t be disappointed.

We loved that this room wasn’t all locks and keys. The clues were smart but not too hard that we needed clues. The theme was original and nostalgic.

One of my favorite rooms. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommend, especially for the linear lovers. Room flowed very well. We have loved both Sixty to Escape rooms (this and Magic Heist). Very innovative setting. Need to do more here.
Amazing design. Great eye for detail throughout the video store setting. Took me back.
Anya (spelling?) was awesome.

Not like any other setting I’ve ever done. Very interesting how it is set up.
Medium
On the easier side. Like any other room, there were puzzles in hindsight that should have been more obvious after having done similar puzzles in the past. Still very innovative in the storytelling.
High tech
I’d call it high tech compared to some mom and pop places I’ve done in the past.
2-4, might get a little crowded with being so linear.

I think kids would be ok here; says a person without kids.

This is a great room for beginners and anyone with nostalgia for the days of video rentals. The atmosphere was spot on and felt real. The progression was really well done and if you have done other rooms at other 60 to escape location, then you may recognize a few familiar faces. We had a blast and only wish there was maybe one more area to complete so we could stay a bit longer, but other than that would definitely do this again with friends who were new to the hobby

Really awesome if you have done their other rooms and still cool if you haven’t. Game flowed super well and the atmosphere was perfect ANOTHER amazing room from the 60 to Escape brand.

Lots of fun and chock-full of references! Not just references to real movies, but also nods to 60 to Escape’s other rooms, which I really appreciated having done all of them so far! The technology is intense from the moment you enter! This is the best iteration of a Blockbuster Video escape room that I’ve done so far, and I liked the variety of puzzles. They aren’t too hard and the linearity and size of the rooms made it very doable for a smaller team of 2. While I liked the various movie sets, the puzzles and decor were definitely compartmentalized into their ow sections, which all resemble other rooms genres that 60 to Escape has made. These sections are super fun, but they also feel like bite-sized versions of the company’s existing hits. I would even say that playing through the different sections are akin to “renting” an escape room theme in a try-before-you-buy fashion, which is fitting for Lockbuster. It makes me wonder what an alternative version of this room focusing more on the old-school rental video aspect from this company would have looked like. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the room as a big fan of 60 to Escape’s quality and self-referential humor. In the end, Lockbuster Video is best to experience after you have played the company’s other rooms throughout their different locations!
