August, 1934 You are en route to begin your life sentence in America's highest security prison, Alcatraz. Aboard your bus is the notorious gangster, Al Capone. Capone's crew has hatched a plan to break him out before the bus reaches Alcatraz. You have one hour. Work with your fellow inmates to escape the bus before the Alcatraz officers arrive and deliver you to America's Devil Island. Big Al's gang has left a series of covert clues intended to aid the escape. Collaborate to quickly find and use the clues or prepare to be newest prisoner of the Rock.

Immersion: 5/10 Youβre on an actual bus, which is great, but youβre looking out into the parking lot, so that breaks the atmosphere immediately. Most things on the bus were competently created, but not crafted. Puzzles 6.5/10: standard stuffβ¦ all combo and key locks, black lights, bouncing light off mirrors, etc. Story Integration 3/10: really this could have been on a submarine, or a killer has you locked in a room, etc. without having to change any puzzles or anything about the narrative. The puzzles didnβt really fit the story, since the story was a derivative way to get a team solving puzzles. Video: 1/10β¦ little attention or budget was spent making the intro in terms of acting, video quality, etc. Finale (8/10): I thought where you escaped was fun. Customer Service: 9/10 Everyone was extremely nice and helpful

This room was rated a little high for me and feels out dated. Other than it being on a prison bus, I was a bit underwhelmed. Itβs pretty lock heavy and worn down. We still had a decent time.

Flowed well enough. Lock heavy room. We had a couple issues with putting in the right combination and the lock not working.
Atmosphere
Being in a bus is unique, but honestly the environment isnβt that well polished. Things felt worn down, random, and messy.

One of my favorite escape rooms so far! Being on a bus made the experience immersive and so fun! Iβm also very grateful for the heaters they put in the rooms, it could have gotten very cold!

Such a great room! Good set up and fun clues to solve. I feel like there was a good mix of simple and complex clues. Went with 4 people, in my opinion I wouldn't have wanted more than that

You get on the prison bus, they handcuff you in... the rest is history because you must escape! Really fun "room" with lots of interesting puzzles and a live actor involved. One of the puzzles involves a lot of math and I for the life of me kept messing up and the actor really applied pressure to make it fun. Our originally booked room was "Chloe" and due to snow we couldn't get there on time. They worked with us to find something else that would work the next day and I'm glad it was this one because of how unique the bus experience was. I'd hands down love to go back to Alcatraz Escape Room and do more of their rooms. Only call out - if it's cold out, make sure you wear appropriate clothes. You're basically outside in an unconditioned bus.
