Gen 3/4 Game Deep in the jungle lies the Temple of Oculto (Hidden Temple), where the great warrior, Guerrero (literally Great Warrior), was buried with his amulet, the Heart of the Jaguar. When raiders stole the amulet, they unleashed Guerrero’s curse, turning the temple into a treacherous place filled with spectral guardians. Only by returning the amulet and performing a sacred ritual can the curse be lifted. Until then, the temple remains a warning against greed and disrespect for the dead. Are you brave enough to lift the curse?

We had a great time - Erika on the front desk suggested this room, and Anna was our excellent GM. The room was clearly new and had a lot of clever signals and cluing via atmosphere; we really loved it.

Our second escape room at Expedition Escape and I think this might be my favorite room. So much fun, and such a great experience. Very immersive and high tech room, we moved through it pretty quickly but I think that’s just a testament to the fact that it flowed so well and the puzzles just make a lot of sense. We had such a great time and didn’t want for it to end. I can’t recommend this room enough!

Many high tech interactive puzzles. There was lighting that instantly changed to black lights, fog, vibrations and so many fun puzzles that weren’t just locks.

This was the most immersive escape room I’ve done so far. Theming, role playing, props! It was the whole 9 yards! Anna was a phenomenal guide!

My group of 3 (1 adult and 2 teens) really enjoyed this room. The theming and interactions with staff were really fun. It had a nice variety of puzzles, including some neat things I had not seen before. The flow was fairly linear, which helped our ADD group focus and made the puzzles a little easier to solve. It wasn’t the hardest room we have done, but all the effects made it incredibly satisfying to get through the everything. Our GM Erika was super nice and took the time to walk through everything with us at the end. This is the third room we have done at Expedition Escape, and every time we go the rooms are top notch and the staff treats us like rock stars. We can’t wait to go back to do more!

From the moment your GM says hi you are fully immersed in the story line right from there. We were very fortunate to have Skylar, one of the owners, be our game master for our adventure. We have played the other games there and this is on the same level as Blind Tiger (personally I liked Blind Tiger a bit more). The technology is great in this room as there are no traditional lock and key or combo locks in the room. We stumbled on maybe two or so parts but and only needed one clue. We finished early so we had some time to talk with Skylar about the room, the tech behind it, an up and coming room and other escape rooms in the area that he suggested. You can tell that himself and his team are VERY proud of not only this room but all of their rooms and what they have built.
